Brings back great memories to see my cousin Mike Siani catching touchdowns for the Oakland Raiders!
Nicholas Fabiani he was very cool!
Mike Siani from my home town of Staten Island. What a terrific football player.
@MichaelAroll I used to love it when the Raiders came to the East Coast, and we would have a couple of bus loads of people go to the games. We went to Baltimore, Philly, New England, Pittsburgh, and Shea stadium, where he caught the winning touchdown against the Jets! Probably the highlight for me. Other than his Super Bowl.
Like this era of football a lot better, miss the 70s
You said it brother. The NFL is a complete joke right now. The game is ruined.
Raiders offensive line probably is the best in the history of the NFL.
I think so. In 1972/73...they had no less than 4 HOF 'ers starting, They , were the real reason behind Stablers high accurate ratings . Given his relative weak arm he could'nt heave it down field and had to settle for the short to intermediate passes to Fred B . Poor Cliff Branch , had the talent but no QB to maximize it during his prime.,....barely made the HOF.
In 1973 the Raiders ended the Dolphins win streak.
In 1974 the Raiders ended the Dolphins postseason win streak.
In 1975 the Raiders ended the Dolphins win streak in the Orange Bowl.
I was at the 1975 game.
Yet as a Raiders fan we respect those Dolphins

Back then the Raiders were practically Washington DC's second home team. CBS generally had the rights to the Redskins' 1 PM game, so the NBC affiliate would show at 4 PM the best the AFC would offer at that time slot. That usually meant the Raiders.
OAKLAND 4 EVER !!!!!!
I forgot how bad the fields were back then. The technology as far as grass growing sure has excelled.
They where the best R.I.P Ken"snake"stabler

I m afraid not David....he already did this in the 70 playoff game against the Dolphins. THAT was the preview.
Back when the Raiders had a defense and head coach
17:09, 😮, Riley Odoms...
Jack Tatum wore #31 in those days and he put Odoms to sleep with that hit!
