This was day 6 of our road trip from Florida to Vancouver, Canada where we get on a cruise and sail the inside passage of Alaska and come home a different route.
Miles of day 6 were 445mi/716km
About 6.5 hours of drive time, we started in Gillette, Wyoming and we made 2 stops. 1st stop was here at Pictograph Cave State Park Billings, Montana and 2nd was Greycliff Prairie Dog Town State Park in Greycliff, Montana and ended our day in Whitehall, MT.

I know they are a pest for farmers and ranchers, but they are adorable. Interesting information. They have quite a few cute animals. Landscape is so pretty too.

Fun to see the prairie dogs. Looked like a nice visit there. Burrowing owls are pretty cool. We don't see them often but they have them here in Utah as well. Nice stop on your road trip. Have a great day.

Day 6 is looking good. Yall were not messing around. That's a beautiful State Park. Tina and I just watched Lonesome Dove, and now, seeing your video, Melissa, we want to go to Montana.

Prairie Dog towns are really fascinating. We did not pull in here but I do remember stopping to photograph Devils Tower and watching these cute creatures near our pull in. Spotted some in a few locations. Great to see them.
we love Devils Tower, we went there in 2019 and absolutely love it. These lil creatures are everywhere out west lol
I love prairie dogs. I think they’re too cute! Don’t think we saw any in Montana, but there was plenty to see in North and South Dakota. Anytime I see them I try to get pics and video of them. You sure are making tracks along the way. What a great trip!
