Exploring CANADA PLACE Cruise Terminal in Vancouver on EMBARKATION DAY Celebrity Cruise Eclipse

- Embarkation day on Celebrity Cruise ship Eclipse was really such an easy and pleasant experience. Parking at the Indigo Parking underground garage, was right next to the cruise terminal. Once we gave our cruise ship our luggage and got our boarding cards we were off exploring Canada Place. From viewing the Olympic Cauldron, to the Digital Orca, to the Sea Planes taking off and landing and just the amazing beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. This port is such an amazing place to see!

This was day 11 of our road trip from FL to Vancouver, Canada where we get on a cruise ship and sail the inside passage of Alaska.
Day 11: 40miles/63km Total drive time 1 hour.
Started our day in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, drove 1 hour to Indigo Parking Lot 34/Canada Place. Explored the beautiful port of Vancouver then set sail for Alaska.
Day 12: Day at Sea cruised all day and saw so many whales from our Balcony!
Total Trip miles so far: 2,769m/4,456km

Being able to check in through an app has made a number of travel experiences a lot easier. Glad to hear embarkation day was hassle free. Love seeing those orcas. Even the Digital Orca was kind of cool. Thanks for taking us along!

Lovely day to sail out of Vancouver. We have stood on the waterfront here ourselves watching the seaplanes. We had to make do with the ferry across the harbour for our short "cruise". We never had enough time to explore properly while working.

@@AdventuresAreOutThere We leave the 30th of July. Tracy Arm Fjord, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, & Victoria. The shore tours we signed up for were collectively nearly as much as the cruise. So expensive this trip is going to be! Will be worth it though. Can't wait.
Never been on a cruise. Not really something on my list, but would love to visit Canada. Never done that either. It always looks so beautiful. Awesome you got to see whales.

We saw whales I think almost every day while sailing! We even saw orcas not just humpbacks which was sooooo cool :)

Hello, I am interested hearing your experience at the Vancouver Cruise Terminal when you were dropping off your luggage for the cruise. I've seen other videos for this terminal where the experience of going (walking) to a different level to drop off your luggage and then another level (by elevator) to check-in was quite hectic. Just wondering if Celebrity had a different but better process. Thanks!
Hello and thanks so much for your question! I wish I would have filmed that part, I think I was in vacation mode and didn't even take out my camera much lol but I can tell you was when we first arrived we took the elevator right to the luggage drop off and they took that no problem no sure what level that was, but there were workers directing us the entire way. That was around 11am when we first got there. Our check in time wasn't till 2pm so we explored Canada place. We did all the pre-check in on the app but once it was our time to board there was a line for the arrival area, it was mostly kiosk, there were workers helping us if we needed, we just did the check in process on the kiosk then we got our cruise card and walked right on. The only busy area was the kiosk line, but it went smoothly and there were lots of workers ready to help if need be. I hope I explained it ok, let me know if you have any more questions, always glad to help :)
@@AdventuresAreOutThere Great thank you for the information. Sounds like the level for Celebrity cruise in terms of luggage drop off was more convenient than other cruise lines so that is good to know!
