EASY Must SEE Stops in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington | Mt. Baker Highway

- Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest is over 1.7 million acres of protected land in the western part of Washington State. We stayed in the Mt. Baker area on Mt. Baker Highway and saw some amazing waterfalls, mountains, glaciers, creeks, and a volcano! Did you know, Mt. Baker is a snow-covered active volcano?? Amazing, right? At 10,781 ft and is the tallest peak in the North Cascades Mountain Range! Watch this video till the end and get a close look into this amazing gem of a place in northern Washington!

This was day 10 of our road trip from FL to Vancouver, Canada where we get on a cruise ship and sail the inside passage of Alaska.
Day 10: 129miles/207km Total drive time 3 hrs. 45 min.
Started our day in Burlington, Washington, drove 1 hour to the beginning of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest (Spent all day enjoying the National Forest) then drove 1.25 hours to the Sumas Border check point then 14 min to the Sandman Hotel in Abbotsford, BC.
Total Trip miles so far: 2,729m/4,391km

Holy moly. That’s a big area. Love the falls and flowing water. Such a pretty scene. The views around the lake are amazing. This is such a gorgeous area. So many places to get great scenic photographs. Cool to see the peeps skiing. Sure do love those mountain views.
I know right, those mountain views are endless, and there are so many campgrounds around, maybe yall will adventure this far west one day ;)

Fun trip and destinations. You had me drooling at the sight of those huckleberries. Oh, they are so so good! Fun to see and play in the snow in July. Time to make some snow angles or have a snowball fight! Heck yeah! Have a great day.
Heck yeah, any opportunity to have a snowball fight we get, we take lol. I know right, huckleberries I could eat them everyday!! :)

What a stunning place to visit and nice place to stop for lunch too. I have heard of and seen videos on Mt Baker before and it always looks such an amazing place to visit, some nice trails there with some great wildflowers, as well as the snow and the waterfalls. Cheers Alan

You said that like a pro. That name is a mouth full. 😂. It is an absolutely stunning park. So much to see and do. Loved the trails and Mountain View’s. Love huckleberries. Lunch looked good; especially the lemonade. Yall really had lots of flowers to film. The boys enjoyed the snow. 😂.

What a beautiful forest. Love waterfalls and love easy walks to them LoL The reflections off the lake 😍😍 to bad it wasn't a clearer day. The water is clear up there. Good tip for getting to the snow field. Artist point is aptly named

It's a beautiful waterfall, and it's an easy hike, too! Love the view on the lake even if its a cloudy day. Looks like an awesome area for the family, especially the view of the river flowing down the valley. Snow in July! So cool! Should have taken the plunge in the glacier lake, 😂 🥶

Catching up on a video I missed a few weeks back. You saw so many gorgeous places on the road trip to your Alaska cruise. I can see why your family enjoyed this hike so much. There is so much to see. And a snow field in July is awesome! Snow skiing in July too! But I am definitely gonna join you in passing on that polar plunge in a glacier lake.
