Although sometimes suspected neuro issue will trump ABC. Like if someone was recently drowning and suddenly their toes point downward and their posture becomes decorticate, that sign would be the most important indicator of an emergency over something like wheezing, because it’s a sign of brain damage.

The answer is always in line with ABCs. Except OB. That one is almost always the one with high BP .

It's like the ABCs in EMT, Airway Breathing Circulation are the priorities:)

I think the exception is in a patient with a new cast. Compartment syndrome comes to mind as an exception to pain as a priority.

And sickle cell anemia, when pain is high since it’s a sign for possible clots

Also, when safety is an issue, patient teaching can be the priority patient. Be very careful reading the options. Also, watch the verb tenses. When they something happened in the past that will require an intervention at some pointin the future, don't assume that the past event is an active problem that requires urgent attention.

If the pain is angina suggesting M.Infarction would that count as C for circulation?

yeah, pain is uncomfortable, but it won’t kill the patient. it’s subjective. it’s important, but not priority
