As a young kiddo, I used to be scared and fascinated with Bloody Gir.
Like seriously, I would think about trying to find him in the episodes all day. It made me feel so uneasy just to look at him.

I like to imagine that gir is not actually bloody but rather it’s just that in the original episode idea gir just gets covered in a red like substance possibly tomato sauce (because if I remember correctly in this series gir likes tacos) But because of his appearance making him look like he’s bloody the episode was canned.
mabye it would be that gir got ketchup on himself and everyone thinks gir was very evil even zim who tries to destroy him and the episode is about gir attempting to make it to dibs house to escape only to nearly destroyed by dib who sees bits of ketchup from where gir ran away and realises it was just ketchup the entire time

The voice actor for Gir said the animation should be done by early 2018. After that they still need to make commercials, and hype it up so we probably won't be getting it until summer of 2018.
I remember being obsessed with bloodygir back in the day, I remember trying for a long time to pause at a frame where he was said to be and I did it, and literally cried because I was a youth.
I remember hearing that bloody gir was just supposed to be gir after getting pizza sauce spilled on him and pepperoni on his eyes, but Nickelodeon said it looked too much like he was covered in blood and evil, so they rejected that design.

I'm not sure but I remember having a nightmare cause I saw an appearance of bloody Gir
I remember he was feeding me pizzas in the kitchen, I had enough of the pizzas and tried to escape out the front door
He noticed that I had left my seat AND ALL THE LIGHTS WENT OFF IN ZIM'S HOUSE.....
Then I saw him, in that dark doorway was Bloody Gir nothing but his glowing red eyes and I could see some of the blood dripping down his body due to the sunlight coming out of the windows...
I woke up and cried next to my mom 😂
Then later in the day I realized it was pretty cool instead of scary knowing how cool it would be if we could see more of Bloody Gir in the episodes.
That and the comedy of the show itself made me keep watching until it was sadly cancelled off Nicktoons

As I understand, a major reason the show got cancelled was because of all the use of 3D animation in an otherwise traditionally-animated show, which brought it overbudget. This was right around the time Jimmy Neutron was coming out, so 3D in Nickelodeon cartoons wasn't remotely normal. Plus, this was also a time where, for whatever reason, networks just couldn't stand allowing a show to be marketed towards different demographics. In this case, it was attracting a significant amount of older viewers into its audience. (Pretty much the same thing was happening with Teen Titans, which was attracting a lot of female viewers.) In other words, the network reacted pretty much the complete opposite of what happened with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

XD at lest they let it end rather keeping it going forever. if they did. there would be crazy things happening. like everyone's running around with pony clothes, more insane fan fics and worse more gays as in bad gays. it was bad enough that furries were moving in. it was nuts.

If you're trying to find the one from the Mortos Soulstealer intro (the most obvious and easy to see one), Nick removed it from a lot of future releases, in particular it doesn't appear on iTunes, the DVD set, or Hulu, so you'll have to find an original aired recording or re-run of it.
I actually knew someone who sat around and found them all.

When I was in middle school, I would draw GIR a lot and my parents knew the character and where he was from. I found a Bloody GIR sticker one time at a flea market so I bought it along with some more. At that time I knew of Bloody GIR’s origins. When my mom saw them, she thought for some reason I drew them and when she saw the Bloody GIR sticker she was horrified. My mom then tried to ban me from ever watching the show again because it was “turning me into a sociopath” and the look on her face when I explains the origins just made her confused 😂

theres something about bloody GIR that really unsettles me. i don't know why, maybe its his big, bland yet intense eyes or the fact that he's holding such a stationary pose. whenever i saw him on screen on this video, i sorta expected a giant version of him standing at the door of my room, staring at me with such focus that his future actions become unpredicable.. hhghhh, gives me the heebie-jeebies.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick and Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Rick and Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

I don’t think bloody gir was actually ever pitched to Nickelodeon- they snuck him in because “the idea was never pitched, so nick never said no” which is so in character for the guys behind invader zim

Ok I have a Spongebob theory.
It revolves around the magic conch in club Spongebob. Ok let's go. My theory is that the magic conch shell is evil and lures it's followers into the forest to watch them suffer. Crazy, but hear me out. When Squidward was starving, the conch denied him food to watch him suffer. And I believe that in the end when they are saved and then he is trapped with them, the magic conch is slowly leading all of it's followers to be trapped forever.
