Speed paint of a fun AU idea!
Here's some back story if you're interested:
She fails the entrance exam and is then put into a regular school instead of a magic school. For years she invest everything into her studies (pulling her farther from her friends) in hopes of somehow getting into Celestia’s school. She eventually slips and takes up smoking which starts as a way to de-stress then turns into a hobby. She gets her cutie mark when she magically enhances some devils lettuce and now we have Stoner!Twi. Not sure about spike yet but I like to think she does eventually meet Pinkie and they become smoke buddies
