- Incredible power! Incredible thrust reduction! Incredible Rolls Royce RB-211 engine sound! Steep takeoff! Watch as we depart from Princess Juliana Airport at Runway 10 and take a huge right turn over the water to avoid the mountains! Look at all the people on Maho Beach! I had to do this takeoff at least once in my life! My apologies for the minor baby outbursts! Beautiful overview of the airport as we circle around to the West! Look at that beautiful blue Caribbean Sea! Awesome engine sound! Filmed from the first row of the economy cabin on board US Airways! Flight 1561 to Charlotte. 5/16/13.

AirplaneVideos1 I am pretty sure the 757 has the best power to weight ratio of all Boeing and Airbus planes, but I‘m not sure about the MD90 so you might be right. The 777 has the strongest engines but it‘s also heavy as fuck so it‘s performance is not as good as the 757

Love it!! The 757 has the highest climb rate of any airliner which is why it's my favorite aircraft to fly on. This takeoff looks exhilarating, as do many takeoffs I've experienced on the great 757. Got to love the sound of those engines!

MD80s/DC9s/717s can do pretty steep climbs too. MDC designed them right. I just wished they had better management.

On my last flight I sat between two mothers with crying babies. The takeoff was aggressive and on landing, we bounced 3-4 times. I felt bad for the babies, but who knows if they will be roller coaster fans when they grow up. xD

***** I've heard that the same engines are the same they use for the 767. Also, I've heard that each engine on the 757 has more power then all three on the 727. I love the 757.

Besides my all time favorite aircraft the Concorde, the Boeing 757 is the greatest narrow body aircraft of all time. I've flew on 757's ever since I was born. I always get goosebumps and love the engine sound. Pure raw power at its finest. I'm really mad at Boeing for not making a Max version of this aircraft, but I really love the flap noise as well. Your video shows a 757 operating and taking off at its best. One of the best takeoffs I ever seen. Thank you for capturing such a marvelous work of art. Automatic Subscription!!!!!!!!

Even the child was silenced by the Rolls Royce RB-211’s. Man those engines on a 757 at full power like they were in this video make that thing look and feel like a rocket ship. The 757’s short field performance it so good it’s almost stupid.
