The 500LB MONSTER NBA Players Fear..

  • If you thought NBA players like Shaquille O’Neal, Dwight Howard or Wilt Chamberlain were dominant for their size, just wait until you hear the story of a near 7 foot, 500 pound monster named Troy “Escalade” Jackson. Being nicknamed after a vehicle isn’t an easy feat, but because of what Escalade was able to do in college at Louisville while also playing basketball for And-1 and the Harlem Globetrotters, he may have been an all-time great in the NBA if it weren’t for such a drastic ending to his career..

Escalade was 500 lbs and 6'10".... and playing basketball... I wonder if any NFL teams actually reached out to him, because you can see that Troy is very unusually very agile for his size, and was able to sprint down the court. He'd be good on either defense or offense.

This video made me cry about Troy’s story, he was good at what he does, despite his weight, he had very good skills and lovely character.
Thus, this story says a lot, no matter how hard life gets enjoy your very peak moments because life is too short to suffer. If you are going to be the best entertainer and best eater for food, like this guy go ahead. But remember take precautions and always look after yourself well, including your health.
Furthermore, people need to understand have empathy for peoples’ situation because you never what they are going through and you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Like in this video despite his weight being huge people were so surprised that he was still able to play well in basketball.
You will surely be missed Troy RIP 🙏🏾. You’re career definitely inspired many.

I'm 5'11" and at my highest weight (487#), I have been there. The mobility this guy had is a freak thing. Not many people can move with this weight level, I could play some ball , but not on that level. I am at a lower weight these days (around 370# now), but that weight early has wrecked my body. The fact he could move that well, was an anomaly. I know, because I been there before. That weight tears your body up. To all the kids growing up now, please take the advice from someone that's been there. "It's easier to keep it off, than to take it off". Please don't let this happen to you

@@marshalltaylor5780, I meant the stresses on the body, my point was he was a miracle. In my 20's i was decently agile (No I couldn't dunk), that changed in my 30's. The stresses of hauling around that much took their toll on my joints i could still move and even played a little 21 on occasion, but paid the price the next few days. My point was him maintaining that agility for as long as he did makes him a freak of nature in a good way. I was saying as someone that was in the same region weight wise i understand how special he really was being able to do that

I remember that dude. He inspired me as an athlete.
I struggled with weight issues when I was a teenager. I gravitated towards larger athletes Like,Shaq and refrigerator Perry you know the big guys.
I started off as a strong side tackle.
They noticed I had decent speed for a kid my size.
The following year I got my shot to play full back.
It didn't last long but, that did help open the possibility in my mind that I do much more than speculated.
I love seeing a person who LOOKS like they're not supposed to be there go above and, beyond.✨
