That's the thing, Snyman's role isn't to run fast. He's there to run through people and take as many of them with him as possible, which frees up space for the speedsters
Love your reaction and the way you have adopted this beautiful game. Watch so many Americans reacting to rugby but you the realist. See you understand so much bro...develop the sport in the US!
You definitely have the most rugby knowledge of American reactions I've seen, 👍🏼 Hopefully USA will have a competitive rugby team soon, your 7's team is already there 💯 Watsup from South Africa 🇿🇦
He's a very underrated player. Imo he's the best love in the world when he's not injured. He's also got incredible speed for his size. Also offloads like a back. Probably the best hands for a lock I've ever seen
He signed for Irish province Munster 2 seasons ago and only played 2 games because he did his ACL…..TWICE! So he hasn’t played rugby for 2 years & 4 months. It’s sad because on his day he’s probably the best lock in the world. Eben Etzebeth is an enforcer but RG is the more natural gifted footballer
Like there are legends of the Yeti in the Himalayas and bigfoot in northern American states, there are also legends of the wild men of the Kalahari. The latter can now be proven. 😆
I have to agree. The Springbok pack will dominate at the next WC. If we improve our backline by just 20%, we will be absolutely unstoppable. We have the players to step up and improve our ability to score backline tries. We will be in the final come RWC 2023. Only question is, who will we face?
Richie Metcalf from the UK was 7'ft. I saw the South African team come through at Brisbane Airport in Queensland, Australia. From memory the tallest dude on the squad at the time was 6'11
I had an uncle who was 6ft10 (sadly passed away). His nickname was Tiny lol. He had to bend his head to walk through a door, was bad news for furniture, too many chairs broke when he sat on them lol. Wise cracks like how is the wind up there, he would answer with, stick your nose in my ass and feel them 😂. So I have an idea of how large a man like Snyman is. With those huge hands and long arms so easy for him to catch/pass the ball. Always fun to watch. Idk if you noticed but it was Etzebeth he took on couple of times in the video.
@@roybean7166 I would assume so, as most South African boys play rugby from a young age and he definately would have played lock for his school team. He might have played for his town team too, somewhere in the old Transvaal. He lived in Namibia for some years too.
Well, I live in Cape Town. Yrs ago at school , a guy was 6ft 7 inch. He played first team rugby, but was useless. Could not jump. But he was there as he was tall enough to just catch a ball in lineout. !! But overall , what a useless player he was.
Man it make me as a south african feel so proud to be one.Only pity is,his a bluebull :D.But he makes me think of young James Small.I loved how they tried to fight him and he just smile like saying bring it bitch 😂
Pity he is struggling with injuries... still not sure when we will see him back on the field. Thanks for great video...quite a few clips i haven't seen before.
Your rugby language is noticably growing - fair play. The NFL expressions have disapeared the rugger vocab is coming through on the analysis ... lineout , ruck... whats next, a maul .... got to be a maul, no? AG is a giant ... Afrikaans boys only come in one size, XXXL.
The crazy thing, as good as RG Snyman is, he's not even first choice for his position in the Springbok team. They generally prefer to play him off the bench later in the game as an impact player, or "super sub".
I just wish that the boks would get him back with Eben!!!!!!!! Man that would be awesome!!!!!!Come on springboks get this beast loose on the world!!!!!! Fire burns & alllllll pls pls pls
@@777Mattman Not really. They were certainly (mostly) legal within the rules at the time, anyway. Just the ferocity of the hits and his speed to the ball carrier made them look worse. They didn't call him "The Chiropractor" for nothing - he rearranged people's bones.
Nah mate. This is a Viking in every way that matters. Besides, he'll almost certainly have Viking genes; he comes from Northern European stock, after all. Dutch, Germanic, Scandinavian.
That's the thing, Snyman's role isn't to run fast. He's there to run through people and take as many of them with him as possible, which frees up space for the speedsters
Yup. So Cheslin Kolbe, Willemse or De Allende can take up the run.
My favourite Springbok player
His offloads are incredible and 90% successful on lineouts
Definitely underated if you ask me
His offloads are crazy. He can catch the ball with one hand. Geez
Snyman is by far the slickest lock when it comes to ball handling skills.

Snyman is a monster bro - the new generation Bakkies Botha!
I do respect when the smaller dudes square up to giants like that...

Hi Sean, Jona Lomu played 13 tests against South Africa and never scored a single try.
Bro! 2:02 you had me - "Bro look like he havin' fuun!" This is classic taunting by these "enforcers" to upset the mindset of opposition.
Snymans passes are clean and clear. He originates and supports try scorers
The tone of your gangster voice and your facial expressions are the littest!!!
'What you gon do? None of en committed..'
Fantastic offload, decent speed, great one handed catches, all round athlete.
I miss seeing him on the field 🥺

My boet, no one who watches rugby thinks RG is underrated. 😱

Props to hie team mates who can lift him that high.
Andries Bekker was the OG Giant for South Africa, he played lock combination with Etzebeth when he was a youngster
Whem him Pieter steph and Kolbe are back we won't be stoped
In your dreams 🤣🤣
Like the first round of rwc 😂

Dude is Swedish death metal with hammer blast beats
De Allende and am are a world class centre pairing
Going to go on to be the best the game has seen just give them a couple of seasons💯🔥🇿🇦

Did your uncle play rugby, if so for whom ?

Ollie the BULLY, LOL was a medical doctor who played rugby to create patients.
Great vid. Btw, his surname is pronounced "Snay-munn".
Rugby ball looks like a tennis ball in RG's hands.

Hey Brother Man !!! Love your work best South African Regards !!!!!!!
Great commentary, guy knows the game 👍
Pity he is struggling with injuries... still not sure when we will see him back on the field. Thanks for great video...quite a few clips i haven't seen before.
Good hands and very fast.
Mate they are all huge !...
RG is an absolute animal
Love your reactions, please watch Os Du Randt - Mobile Mountain and Joost van der Westhuizen - a tribute to an iconic career
Great reaction may i sugest chebal the french neanderthal dude was something else
There is dozens of them of him in South Africa.. unfortunately there is not place for everyone , that is why they are being exported..
R G Snay-mun, thats the pronunciation 👍
Reacte to Damien de Allende from as great centre world class probably the best 12 in the world now
Moves pretty damn good for 6' 9"
He's also listed as 6'10

"How do you tackle him?"
Remember he is South African here we breeds real Gaints
The crazy thing, as good as RG Snyman is, he's not even first choice for his position in the Springbok team. They generally prefer to play him off the bench later in the game as an impact player, or "super sub".
He is bigger than Eben
yo bro you should react to the finke desert race in Australia.
You have to grab both those legs to tackle him.. But to get both legs when he is running.. That's a problem
RG Snyman isn't even the biggest player in the Bok team, that honour goes to Lood de Jager.
He is actually taller than eben etzebeth
His actual taller than Eben.
Danie Gerber... period.
He is actually taller than etzebeth
3.08 Boom get your ass down. Just incase you forgot that was Etzebeth being thrown down 😂😂😂
It was in fact Etzebeth throwing Lood de Jager down
I just wish that the boks would get him back with Eben!!!!!!!! Man that would be awesome!!!!!!Come on springboks get this beast loose on the world!!!!!! Fire burns & alllllll pls pls pls
At 3:08 he man handles etzebeth
2nd clop when red 4 has ball is eben etzebeth getting slammed by snyman
The bro sit your ass down was eben again getting slammed
Sean--World rugby needs America bro--it would be fucking awesome if the US took rugby seriously at least as a pro sport like gridiron
You need to watch video's of Gerald Bosch

React to. Dhem - heaven 👼🏾
Boere South Africans are kak tall bruh 😂😂. My Design teacher was 6’8”, for them the average height probably like 6’1
Yip bud.
I’m 6’1 and considered average height for a boer..
That's because the Dutch are the tallest average men in world, a touch under 6 ft. And Afrikaaners originate in HollAnd.
@@roybean7166 They originate in equal parts from Holland and Germany and to a slightly lesser extent France
GO BOKKE!!!!!!!!!!
He would've played for the all blacks
Please react to New Zealand vs Japan at '95 world cup
You mean hooting
bad knee
Actually not a Viking. The Dutch are the tallest people on average in the world but when they’re born on the Veldt they turn out to be monsters.
My boy i way bigger than Etzebeth or Botha
I just subscribed.. Nice to seek more love for the game.. Check out Kobus Reinach.. Plays scrum half.. Potent player..
Dude you sound exactly like Slik Talk. Check him out
If you want a GIANT watch Richard Metcalfe
Bakkies Botha
react to ab devillier Mr 360 please
He is tall, but not that thick
He is not Scandinavian don’t call him a Viking he is South African and South African Afrikaans white men are sometimes built like that it’s genetics
You do realize Vikings are from the other side of the world?
Nah mate. This is a Viking in every way that matters.
Besides, he'll almost certainly have Viking genes; he comes from Northern European stock, after all. Dutch, Germanic, Scandinavian.
You do realize his ancestors were European.
you all know hes retired
React to. Dhem - heaven 👼🏾
