I'm sure a lot of people like the newer Superman movies but I think they're complete garbage.
Personally I think Superman should be lighthearted movies like the ones with Reeve in the late 70's/early 80's.
Superman movies shouldn't try to be edgy like the Batman movies. They're completely different characters.

I’m sad for the character. Not for Ezra. The flash can actually be a really interesting character who can rival Superman and Batman given the right opportunity.

I kept hearing that flashpoint was good so I was surprised when this flopped hard. I understand now why, the changes, I'm guessing?
I don’t understand why didn’t they just stick to the source material and made Flashpoint like in the animated film. Would have have been more interesting.
I really didn't expect the villains to win in this one, it got pretty dark at the end, I loved it.
When Grant wasn't given the part I felt really bad for him ... but it looks like he came out on top by not being connected to it.
I think the movie would have been considerably better with him in the lead. I do not get how Ezra Miller got this role.

To be fair, the noodle scene is the most accurate movie explanation of how time travel would work.

It raises your cholesterol? Huh. No wonder Doctor Who's regenerated so many times, his heart must look like a lump of suet within a couple of years of every reset.
But it’s never really explained how or why Keaton’s Batman know how time travel and multiverse works.
Superman The Quest To Rest In Peace had me laughing big time and is 100% right, just leave reeve and his superman in the past where it belongs.
Best part of the honest trailer in my honest opinion.

Sasha was actually pretty good in this movie. Aside from Keaton being in the batsuit again, her performance (I thought) was one of the highlights.
Sasha was amazing. I really hope they don't recast Supergirl and get her a movie already.

Flop does not necessitate that the film has problems, just that it failed at the box office. I would have chosen "The Flunk".
I'd say that the CW Arrowverse perfectly did in their "Crisis On Infinite Earths" crossover what The Flash failed to do. They introduced the Multiverse without needing to use bad CGI to show past characters.
I still enjoyed The Flash. Seeing Cage's Superman take on the giant spider was a highlight for me. I remember being excited for "Superman Lives" when it was first announced. It was pretty cool to finally see what could have been.

The movie was great. I was a bit worried over the mixed reactions to the movie, but it's no joke one of the better ones, only behind Batman and Suicide Squad (the new one). I can't believe I'm saying this but a part of the movie, while completely expected, did made me cry. And the movie was pretty funny too.

The main problem with this version of Barry Allen besides being played by Ezra Miller, (seriously, why?) is turning him into a whiney joke machine. Barry Allen is supposed to be a forensic scientist with a lighthearted sense of humor. Also, While it was great to see Michael Keaton again, he was definitely a bit too old for this.

I did think it was strange that even after he fixed things for his Dad he didn't bother to figure out who actually killed his Mom. You'd think someone in the Justice League would want......Justice...
His relationship with his mom in this film is beyond creepy. Its like he fancies her and wants to sleep with her. There is so much other weirdness from Ezra and the rest of the film it sort of gets lost in all the mess but its there. Its like Elvis and his mother levels of unhealthy....
There is no hope for DC.
Some genius decided that they could spread this over two movies. Even though her death was the driving force behind the plot in this movie they had the nerve to save who killed her for the sequel that is never going to happen. Andy Muschietti doesn't come right out and say it but there's a heavy implication it's exactly who you think it is. Reverse Flash.
Why the hell he didn't go back to the time his mom got stab and stop the killer instead of putting a can of soup.

Keaton and Calle (and Danny Elfman's score snippets) were the best part of the film, and I would have enjoyed just seeing a movie with those two crossing paths.
Keaton had no personality in the movie and was clearly phoning it in. He was not the best part of the movie, just being Michael Keaton does not make him work.
@@zackerycooper1206 I like Michael Keaton enough to give him the benefit of the doubt and chalk that stiffness up to the script and direction of the film. I still found him more enjoyable than most other parts of the film, and in another universe (to borrow a plot device) he and Calle would potentially make for a more compelling and entertaining picture.

I was quite satisfied by this movie and wanted to see it again but it's not in cinemas anymore. It was totally a batman movie and that's what I love about it 🤣
I want to see the scenes with Batman again, but not so much the beginning or the ending, so didn't go a second time.

I loved Sasha Calle and Michael Keaton. But when the supporting cast is by far the best thing about the movie, then the movie has a problem.

That was the problem with Burtons Batman. Jack Nicolson. Such a stilted boring Keaton Batman against the entertaining Nicolson version of the Joker.
The Flash has the best Keaton Batman. I always thought Keaton had the skill to be Batman, and it was nice to finally see it done right.

Let me guess, WB saw how much money Spiderman No Way Home made and they thought that they could do the same if not better.
