Yeah, when they introduced Alchemy as the villain, I was looking forward to a non-speedster main villain. Instead he's just a lackey to - you guessed it - a speedster.
Maybe Savitar will turn out to be really cool. I'll withhold judgment until we learn more. Regardless, so far the absolute best plot thread in Season Three has been Caitlin's gradual transformation into Killer Frost.
This video is probably the reason why we finally get to see where the toilets is within S.T.A.R. Lab's confinement cells during the crossover.

True. It's way better than _The Flash._ (Admittedly, Bruce is a pretty weak character, but they do a damn fine job on all the other characters.)
I think the reporters have such weird hair because gotham takes place in an older time era and it's based on a comic book hero so they keep the comic feel to the characters and storyline.

Part of what was left to Barry would include investment portfolios: bank accounts, bonds, and stocks. As for Barry's food bill, it's mitigated by the energy bars that Cisco made that have extremely high calorie counts. It costs money to produce, but it's far cheaper than eating that many tacos. (Not to mention it'd be faster.)

I'm so glad you touch on Iris and Barry being "brother and sister" (I don't care that Barry was adopted or that they changed Iris' ethnicity to hammer home the lack of a biological kinship). It's weird, it sours their romance with creepiness and it just doesn't work.

Fatherhood has really changed him for the better and he's finally back with Felicity and she and William really get along well. And Oliver giving up the hood to John actually works really well for the plot and the characters' dynamics.
