"It's a trend. And I try to avoid all trends."
OG Hipster.
Andre Tsang hipster in 1980.
Hipster is already a trend, to avoid trend is not to be a hipster, but to be subversive.
Andre Tsang he was a hipster before it was cool
So mobile phones are a trend?

I am happy about that as well. Even I love that Splatoon heavily focuses on using actual skills to win plus you had to earn in-game currency by actually playing the online matches.
He must hate Mario Kart Tour then.
Yet there's dlc in Zelda....

It’s funny how Miyamoto has the same opinion about online services today as he had 20 years ago
😂😂 why is this so true
I don't think he's wrong, I think a lot of people would prefer a single-player experience there's just a lot of free time between release of anything worth playing.
Anon CO Understandable, but it’s still not an excuse to find a reason for not improving Switch Online. He recently said that he doesn’t see a problem with it. I don’t say it’s bad, but it’s barebones. And don’t get me started with Friend Codes 😂😅

The real heroes where the ones that were able to take his characters, design and draw them, tell these stories in a visual way.
Stan Lee is more like a disney or a george lucas person, he is the man with ideas, not the person that actually does the main heavy lifting. Possibly a great leader

@@hazukichanx408 Cuz Nintendo creates games like that! Once you play a Nintendo game you are so immersed into its world you want more. Yes you want more of the same, you want the story to continue, you want the legend to continue. That's why these games have contributed to our childhood so much. Plus another factor I have noticed is Nintendo games constantly make you work, through puzzles dungeons and what not, they confuse you again and again till the end. It adheres to the saying, there is the reward in the accomplishment. That's another reason I like to play these time to time.

yet pently of people dont press the run button and fall in the same pit multiple times. smh
Terrible Tanner LISTEN
Even 4 year olds prefer the miyamoto way.
Yeah... but Navi didn't hold my hand during that Gohma. I was scared as hell when that eye appeared because I could hear a crackling sound but had no idea about anything, since the stupid Deku brothers only referred to her as "Queenie" before I ever encountered her, and the Great Deku Tree only referred to a curse inside him.
These days, everyone will know about Gohma before they even purchase the damn game because of things like Twitch and CZcams. The surprise is gone, yet we whine that so many games feel the same and offer nothing different. Then along comes a game like Mario Odyssey or BotW and BOOM!!! surprise. FULL OPEN WORLD ZELDA? WTF?!? ... an open world Mario game, after all these years? And I can control pretty much every hostile? WHAT???
And yet, someone will say "This Zelda sucks because it's not like the others" or "This Mario sucks because controls are so different and you can't get that moon up there without motion controls."
In the end, it's the gamer, especially the overly-informed gamer (since video games are like a kind of magic, and if you know how the trick is done, the magic seems silly), who sometimes ends up ruining the beauty for herself/himself.
Ulen Grau so many shitty games out there, prices have also gotten up. I can't try games like I did back when I was young and games were cheaper or felt cheaper to get. Now getting a game that isn't good enough for the money I spent feels horrible, so I have to look for a review and thus the magic is lost .

The thing why I don't like ps4 or xBox that much is because the only reason why you would ever buy these consoles is because of the exclusives. And these exclusives have no reason not to be on a PC.
But the thing that you can't deny is that Controllers and consoles can change the way how you play games (or how the game developers can make their games).
Like for example the Wii.
There are so many Games that can only work on that console and his controller.
And even if Changes are small (like the touch pad on the ps4 controller) if someone would make a innovativ controller for the PC, it would be useless. Because no Game would support it or its unique features.
That is why PC Games are limited by the controller, because there is only one controller, every pc Game works with.
The xBox 360 Controller or his successor.
This controller isn't bad, I even have a 360 Controller and use it for many Games on PC, but this controller has nothing new ore special to it (at least not anymore).
That's why I'm hyped for things like HD-RUMBLE it's something new. And that wouldn't work on PC (because like I said nobody would buy this controller, or include that feature in their Game)

Despite some “underrated” games this man has made, he’s still an artist and deserves the recognition he gets. Theirs a lot of artists out their we don’t give enough credit to for the art they make, even the failed art pieces. But just because some people said it’s “a failed piece of art” doesn’t mean it’s true. It’s a learning curve, a sign of growth, and an insight into your mind. Let’s give credit to this man, his art and the other artists involved with these ideas at Nintendo. They deserve it more than you would ever know.

They almost second-handedly did it all. They may be the greatest and most successful companies. They invented countless classic games, and created one of the first consoles and created the kind of controller you see today with the NES in 1983, then Sega followed that, then you have the Nintendo 64 (one of the best early box-consoles), GameCube (some say better than PS2), Game Boy, DS (greatest hand-held), and Wii (first motion control).
@@TheClassicWorld but the sega sucked though lol, except for sonic

They started in arcades even before Nintendo and had some early home consoles, as well, and Sonic is really great and the best thing they did. May the best foreshadowed roasts of all time.
Shhhhh. He's a genius legend, we're not allowed to point out his hypocrisy and hackery~

*Glances at Online Gaming*
Yeah... I am sure its just a Trend, Mr.Miyamoto.
I think he was referring to online at the time it first started booming. It definitely isn't a trend, you're right though
@@AmauriGaming Oh, I am sure.
Also, I guess I should preface by saying that regardless of my previous comment I have nothing but the utmost respect for Miyamoto! I just found the comment really silly considering to where we have arrived at now in days XD
@Byucknah The Red - A Miyamoto fan who does not ignore everything odd the man says? You have my respect.
I'm not a fan of his myself, but if more of his fans were capable of critical thinking, I might not mind him as much.
I'm so glad he gets to see the refound success of Nintendo through the switch, the wii u and 3ds flops must've been tough for such a prolific artist
This man deserves a Fckn Nobel Prize
No he doesn't

Hmm, he already earn the fame and money through being a director of the game design.
Miyamoto is a goddamn genius.
This video is an important basic course in design. Be it games, UI on an app or website, the principles of design are being highlighted here. What a great master Shigeru San is !!!
This man is the father of all games
Take a look at Zelda Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey. Everyone can complete the story after some time. However these games still have so much content for players who want to become an expert in this game and can encourage players to continue on playing the game, even when the main story line is completed.
Most of the todays open world games are so huge that players are forced to play alot to end the main story but at the same time players have to do the same things all of again.
Nintendo found the perfect balance between in dept potential for a game, awell as people who just want to complete the storyline.
You can hear the passion in his voice and see it in his smile. Something about him fills my heart and makes me happy to know the person behind my childhood has such a humble persona.
This should've just been called "The Lord at Work"
This does nothing to undermine my hypothesis that Nintendo/Miyamoto fans are essentially a cult, and "It's amazing!" is the only response to anything related to him that is permitted within the faith.

He probably inspired the movie Ready Player One
@@hazukichanx408 Because he really is amazing.
I’m 32 years old and was never a gamer (except of course playing video games as a kid like we all did). Now as an adult, I find fun and great nostalgia in going back and playing these old games from my childhood. Very grateful this gentleman created such a lovable and enduring character like Mario (and all the others). He’s given me endless hours of fun. It brings back great childhood memories every time I play those old games. Thank you, sir!
