Bought one from Lidl November. Worked fine for a while but then around the beginning of December it just shut off but showed a full charge. Contacted the manufacturer who said they'd send a replacement. It arrived today. Stil have the old one boxed with receipt I may see if I can get my money back or something else from Lidl 😉
The one in the video is faulty. They are thermally controlled so the heater cuts in and out as required to maintain a temperature range all the time while it is switched on (according to the manual 42-47deg at power level 3) but yours is switching off. It's not supposed to do that. 2 short presses of the switch displays the charge level for about 3 seconds at any time by illuminating 0 to 3 of the LEDs in blue as documented in the manual. Again in the manual it gives a runtime of 4-8 hours. After about 2 hours use at power level 3 mine still shows as being 2/3 charged. It's about 3 weeks since I got mine and am very happy with it, in fact I went back and bought a second one.
Thank you for the comments i hope they will be getting them back in stock so I can try another one but If they are prone to faults maybe its not worth it for them.
Tried them all! Always go back to the Hot Hands . Ive some lighter fluid ones for stand by , but they can be a bit fiddly and smelly. I get my Hot Hands from B&M at around 70 p a pair.
Very helpful video. I went back to change for another one twice already. The third one in four days still happens the same as described in your video. Just hopeless. Maybe I'll contact the manufacturer to see what they can do with it.

Funny to read the comments on this dogey lidl product. Seems like they are all defective. I have had 2 from lidl charged in full overnight and now it doesn't work just turns on for a few seconds and turns off. Very annoyed with this product and I dont recommend it.
You really should have chosen a noise free background to video..couldn't make out what you were saying..so switched off.. pointless unless we get a clear audio..so no like from me.

Put it in your pocket, makes the hand much faster warm.

Mine worked fine for a day. Now its switches itself off after few seconds just like in a video
I had the same problem. I'm returning mine.
Mine does not want to get fully charges, the third led never stops blinking while charging.
Got my few weeks ago. Doesnt and has never worked. Switches off straight away 🤦
got one, today, it sucks, won't charge a phone, doesn't get warm enough to do anything, just a big bulky paperweight, getting returned.
I can't turn mine off. Settings dont work.
