  • Back in force, the 2021 Vintage Snowmobile Club of the Adirondacks summer expo in on! Cancelled in 2020, this iconic reunion of vintage sledheads and their fabulous collections didn't miss its mark this year! Enjoy many vintage sleds of all makes and models. Tons of twin-track racers, prototype sleds, one-of-a-kind rarities, early race sleds, fully restored and original survivors, this show had it all!
    Taking place annually around the 3rd Saturday of August, the Ormstown fairgrounds host one of Quebec (and maybe North-America's) best shows.
    Enjoy this video and come see us next year!!!

    Great vid. RV's and the 6500, 7500 blizzards are IMO some of the best looking sleds ever. But those Cross country RV's are abominations. Thanks for posting.

      @@mattsws , I guess we were lucky we had 2 Sno Jets we road quite a bit for about 5 or 6 years without any problems except a new battery every season for the twin with electric start. The other was I think 19 HP single…here’s something to laugh about our very first sled was a brand new 10 HP Sno Pony….what a piece of crap that was. Didn’t keep it very long, traded it in on a Skiroule(not sure of spelling) 20 HP single. Not a bad sled….

    Just happened to run across your video of the show....Thanks. When you said there was a 245 super mod, my heart started beating faster, sure enough it was my 245 mod at one time. I got it out of Iowa along with a bunch of other race sleds (78 sno pro, 73 blizzard and etc). The hood was done like you see it, but in primer. I restored it and eventually sold it to someone in Ontario. It's really nice to see it again. thanks

      @mattsws  Před 2 lety +1

      That’s pretty cool that you got to see your old sled in my video!!! The 245rv is among my 3 all-time favorite sleds. I have one complete and another in parts, but obviously not super mod… The only thing I have thats is super mod is an original parts book (like a racer manual) for the 245 mod kit. Thats the only reason I know about what was included in the kit… It was the first time I was seeing one in person. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!

    I bought a brand new 1976 440 free air short track it was surprisingly fast , i believe that was the last year for Yamaha engines, after that they were Kawasaki. Cold days only, i burnt up some pistons pushing through heavy snow near melting point. But i really liked it light and fast.

    Come in Saskachewant and January to March and you gonna see those olds sled Racing Ovals and Drag racing. My friend Gregg Nicole from Moose Jaw have the SNO JET Thunder Jet 1972 and 1973 and 1975 440 F/A Mod 3 and another guys from Eastend Saskachewant have the Thunder Jet 292 F/A 1973 Mod 2 with the original helmet and Snowmobile suit and the boots. I race that sled in 2018 that sled was sitting for 13 years. The SVSA Association in Saskachewant gonna have Race 2022 .....( but very nice exposition). Very nice sled... but my favorite Ski-doo is the Blizzard Sno-Pro 645 triples F/A 1974 Yvon Duhamel was race and Own 👍👍👍 Super Trac's Racing of Yorkton Saskachewant own the Motomaster Race Team Ski-doo Twins track 340 number 96. and mores.. that guys owned 80 sleds and 35 of them are world title sleds. That guys name was Art Bilous. Unfortunately i passed away in 2019. I don't know what happened to that collection ???? i visit that Museum in 2017. Just unbelievable about those Racing sleds.. you can named Ski-doo / Arctic Cat / Sno Jet / Alouette / Yamaha / Polaris / Mercury/ e.t.c

      Wow, I would love to make it out there one day!!! I know the race scene is great out there. I love the 74 sno pro as well. As a matter of fact, that sled was at our 2018 show and Yvon was there also!! He was there again in 2019 and that was the last time I have seen him in person before his passing this year.... He made it a couple times to our summer show, but the 2018 time was great because his old 74 blizzard was there too. I have some pictures and videos of that day. Great memories!!! Take care and thanks for the great comment!!!
