The BMW X1 is a line of cars produced by German marque BMW since 2009. The third iteration of the BMW X1, a range of subcompact luxury crossover SUVs (C-segment), consists of the U11 short-wheelbase model and the U12 long-wheelbase model. The U11 X1 was revealed in June 2022, and launched in select markets globally in late 2022, and early 2023. Unveiled in June 2022, it has an optional choice of front and all-wheel drive using BMW's xDrive AWD system. Based on the UKL2 platform, it is based on the same platform on the previous model.
