- The boys head out for a hunt with a bit of a twist this time. They head to a property where there has been a big hog living. Pete has given them some intel on the fact that the big wild boar has let his guard down and wandered away from his safe den. After a cunning plan the boys manage to set their hunting dogs on him and catch him finally!

Thanks mate. Yea it's tough to keep it up with having dogs and finding the time and spots to hunt them. We are lucky with the farm and 3 of us to be able to do it.
I love my victory knife. Unfortunately I bought it before your brand came out. They hold an edge really well and whilst it is a great hunting knife its profile sees it get used ahead of all my mates knives around camp. Perfect for potato peeling and vege chopping. At first I thought it was stainless but it was the best in the range i had available and I was stoked when i found out it was a high carbon steel that really holds that edge. The other sell point for me was the leather sheath. With around ten seasons of the roar on my belt i can vouch for the quality of both the knife and sheath. I've even used it to skin a cow and I'm no butcher

Awesome vid boys! And great way to start by getting the story going. Gotta love those big family/kids hunts, I've got plenty of practice in those, every year in the Whanganui Kids Hunt! The knife would go down a treat, and I'd use it to keep teaching the kids how to Hunt and Fish. I see the knife on the Victory Knives web site - SKU = CBH, do you have any specs on the blade - width × length. Looks like it might fit in the Victory pig sticker sheath - as an option ? Any thought of doing one with the pink coloured handle for those who prefer that colour - easy to find when you put it down on the ground !
That's the one! I'm not sure on all the specs but its a 15cm blade length, 2cm-2.5cm at the widest part and the standard handle. Not sure if it would fit the pig sticker sheath because the pig sticker handle is quite different and the pig sticker blade is longer. We went for the orange colour to make it stick out in the bush and at this stage we are just doing a limited run. Something to keep in mind for next time.
