Well you finally got lucky and hunting anything is never going to be fruitful all the time as I learnt from a kid hunting rabbits then pigs as an adult. What's with the Mullet lol. Good video guys and Back country is my main freeze dried go to my favorite is the cooked breakfast lol. Stay say maybe we will see you at it again before Christmas if not have a safe and happy one guys & to the family.
The mullet is pretty rough looking but Harry reckons he likes it so he’ll let it grow for a while. Yea the back county’s go really good. Thanks and merry Christmas to you to👍

What type of gun is that, and what did it cost?
The gun is a Rossi .44 magnum in stainless and I think they are around $1,500 NZ dollars

Just thinking the same thing
It would make for great footage but we just don’t want to lose the go pro haha. It would have to stick up on the dogs back which would effect their ability to move quickly through the scrub. I have seen special harnesses but they seem to be limited in their success
I've done that at night down hill. Ran into a puriri tree Fallen over,with roots at hart height.
Lucky I had my oil skin vest on.
Yea it looked sore. It’s surprising how tough clothes and skin are at protecting us.
What’s your favourite way to cook the pork?
Most of our wild pork gets made into sausages. The boars are pretty average otherwise.

What’s bailing??
Bailing is when the dogs contain the pig by barking at it instead of holding onto its ears. They usually do it when they think the pig is a bit too strong to hold

Guys….a “peg” holds clothes on a clothesline! 😂 How do you find the boar meat? Any diff to bought bacon etc? Any diseases, worms etc? Thanks for the vid guys.
Hah the good old kiwi accent. Nah they are fine to eat here in NZ. The big boars don’t taste that nice but they go ok in sausages.
