great to get out there boys but surprised on the trophy quality! those stags would be shot as cull stags in otago.
Yea the stags we shot this year were fairly average in terms of trophy’s. A lot of the stags in there are missing beys and we missed out on the big boy this time!

How much of the meat did you pack out? Must have been at least 150kg after butchering? You guys have inspired me to get into hunting. Have applied for my firearms license and looking forward to getting out there. Cheers.

I just wish I could be a part of a hunt like this. Age is creeping up on me. It's disturbing to see such a beautiful animal wasted. Harvested only for a 1/4 BS and a set of horns. I guess I don't understand your culture or beliefs. Just how many RU allowed to shoot. Only 1 was abel to shoot multiple deer. The mountain can be brutal and I admire your honesty. Beautiful country.

Cheers mate, the tents and bedrolls and sleeping bags came to quite a bit but nothing that wasn’t replaceable. Just a dent in the wallet!😅

was a good video boy .but u cant get it right all the time . a good lesson learned .but u got 2 good deer and a lot of fun 4 u all hunting ..ps pete will have a good laugh when u tell them what happened to your tents
