I did this same job on my 06 LBZ years ago and will be doing the same on my 2020 L5P this coming spring. Really wish you would have let us have a before and after listen but thanks for showing us how its done.

Just did my manifolds, up pipes,down pipe and wherli fab high flow bundle kit and cp3 conversion on my lml. It was a nightmare but sure dam worth it!! All I hear is music out my dual 5 inch exhaust pipes Your vids are much appreciated man!
Fuel lines on the drivers side not trans lines. Going through the process of doing ppe pipes and manifolds on my lml right now. I had to remove the trans crossmember bolts and jack it up a bit to slip the drivers up pipe between the cab and engine

Have manifolds and pipes ordered, Iâm debating on the rds 64mm or the stealth 67. May wait to do all at once, I know when I had the turbo off to give it full bald eagles, I could reach the top of up pipes no problem.
Great video for sure but I would have to of did some kind of coating to make sure it not only lasted forever but it stayed looking great too!!!!
Would have been cool to see you start it up and drive it a bit and give some feedback on any noticeable improvements

Do you reinstall the heat Shields on any of them?
If it was me I would have raised the cat at least 6 to 12 inches are so. That wouldâve made it a lot easier. Nice video.
Since you have had this installed for a while did you see much got mpg increase?

The ppei manifold and up pipes on ur truck master diesel web will fit a 2016 durmax?
Did you reuse manifold studs and up pipe bolts? The kit I bought only had 6 manifold bolts and some heat shield bolts. No up pipe bolts.

My 18 Silverado Dmax has a major exhaust leak back there somewhere, so it appears this same work is in my future.
I understand pulling the cab is the preferred method. It seems you might have experience using both methods cab on, cab removed.
Question:
What do you think about lifting the cab just a few inches without full removal? I'm wondering if even 2 or 3 inches would improve access quite a bit for someone without a hoist.
I canât find a video of anyone pulling the cab off of one of these newer model trucks. I think that would be the way to go. Pull the cab pull everything off install everything put the cab back on done deal. Thatâs the video you should make pulling the cab for 3500 2021 truck pulling off the DPF turbo the downpipe all that crap and putting it all back together with all the new improve products that race trucks need
Man I just got news I have a manifold stud broken an they want to replace them all at the dealership but want 4000 to do it. Haven't been in such a low dark place in a while I'm laid off and told them to just throw it back together.

Other than price, This is an additional reason I refuse to by another duramax. Still own my LBZ to this day from 2006 and runs like a top

Would changing my downpipe make my truck louder? Installed a 5 inch straight exhaust and it's still fairly quiet.
