My budgie also died almost 3 months ago, it was because of my irresponsibility too.... We thought he would recover by himself, but then when we saw he was not recovering, we told the doctor about him but it was very late and that's how he died 😢😢.... I miss him soooooo much 😢😢😢😢😢

Though I may of had a couple tragic losses of budgies, that certainly didn’t stop my love of birds, and thanks to you, your awesome channel, and your adorable birds, I have corrected several of my mistakes as a bird owner and now I have had birds for 4 years. I have 5 birds now: 3 budgies, a cockatiel, and a Quaker parrot, and I also got sort of a job taming baby budgies for my favorite local bird store! I have 4 birds they are all budgies Marshmallow is a white one banana is a yellow one blue is blue obviously and captian is also blue Theres something really unique about banana and marshmallow When marshmallow gets wet he turns a little yellow And banana is trained to go up our stairs All their wings are clipped but i didnt clip their wings
It's getting really really cold and this is my first winter with my birds, I have already watched the old video about winter but I still have a doubt. so I was wondering if it's ok to put hot steam(normal boiled water steam without any chemicals) under the bird cage to keep my birds warm? Please answer
Elle i have 6 budgies and when i first got then (i got 4 at first) they all died because of winter and a few years later my dad bought 6 birds, so when i first got birds i really had no idea what to do. So then 5 of them died 3 the year we bought them and of 2 them died 2 years later :( and before 3 of them did one of them layed eggs and 3 baby birds came out after that my only budgie became sad and lonely :( then my dad bought 2 more female birds (all 4 of them are boys) after that we made sure that the same thing doesn't happen again. So we were looking for how to tame budgies and etc we came across your channel and because of you i could tame all of my birds and gave them a happy life and all i wanted to say is thank you so much elle ♥️😊🙏🏻💕 (Sorry for bad gammer or any spelling mastake)

I'm sorry to bother you... but I cant handle this pain... my female budgie passed away yesterday and cannot get over it, I keep remember her and crying... we had such a big connection... she was at my mothers place and I even didn't had the opportunity to see her one more time, just when she was passed out on my hands... I don't know what to do... I don't think I can handle this, this is too painful, especially for my mother that she was her company... after the male is always calling her and look for her... I don't know what to do.... I've never felt so down in my entire life... I miss her so much 😭💔

Hey Elle, I need some help. I’m 15 and absolutely LOVE birds. I’ve been convincing my parents for a bird since I could talk. My mom will take me to petland just so I can hold and play with the cockatiels (my favorite birds) I’ve made hundreds of slide shows that I’ve presented to them of research I’ve done. But it’s always a no. My parents let me get a guinea pig when I turned 10, and both my parents agree that I take AMAZING care of him, my whole family Loves my guinea pig. I’ve saved hundreds of dollars to help convince them by paying for everything. I’ve found space in my room, and even said I would get rid of my desk and other things to make room, but they still say no. I even told them how cockatiels don’t make as much noise as some other birds. I ask them why I can’t have a bird, and they don’t have an answer. They just keep saying no. I offer to get a job and pay for EVERYTHING. But still no. Anyone have any tips? 😢
probably not what you would like to hear, but i would really just listen to your parents and wait until you move out. cockatiels can be very noisy, very messy, and very high maintenance, even though they are on the smaller side. if not everyone in your household is completely on board with you getting a bird, it can lead to issues. like family members getting annoyed with the constant chatter. a bit more of an extreme example, but if your bird were to hypothetically injure himself and needed immediate medical care, you aren’t old enough to drive and you have to rely on someone else taking you. if someone didn’t fully realize how dire the situation was or wasn’t inclined to take the animal they didn’t want in the house to begin with to the vet, it could lead to a pretty unfortunate situation. likewise, if he was taken to the vet, avian vets are incredibly expensive. let’s say your bird accidentally ran into a window, became egg bound, had a night terror and broke his wing, or ingested frayed threads from his cage cover. simple accidents like these happen all the time, and treatment alone can be thousands of dollars. unless you have a backup savings for your bird, the cost would go to your parents. and i doubt they’d be thrilled. again, especially if this was a bird they didn’t fully want.

Try not to have a reaction to it. And don’t give them attention when they bite. Either put them in their cage for a bit then take them out but don’t do this a lot. Try training also if nothing works
Hey Elle is a 14 inch wide, and tall cage okay? It's around 7-9 inches deep , I'm trying to save up money to get a bigger cage hopefully. Ily so much!! I binge watch all your videos! ❤️
