Tipping use to be great and extra. But like all things, bosses have figured out what service did a while ago. "We can save on wages if the customers pay our employees ".
What’s the difference between paying for a meal and then giving part of that to the waiter as a wage and people paying a waiter directly with a tip? Absolutely nothing. And if you want to make these places pay their employees more, stop tipping. By laws they have to make sure that all income whether tip or wage, comes out to a minimum wage rate or else they get in trouble

@fulltimeslackerii8229 There is a pretty huge difference . If you ever run your own payroll, you'd see why the "tip" culture has been pushed so hard by employers.
You are correct that they have to pay at least minimum. However, tons don't because of loopholes in the total wage calculations and hours worked don't usually cover like it does in a normal 9 to 5 (don't even start on all the things they can charge back to the employee like credit card transaction fees).
Anyway, employers should have to pay a consistent daily wage. Allowing them to let employees be "tipped" is just another way they'll try to rip people working their asses off of pay imo. If it wasn't like that, suits and other bosses wouldn't push it so hard.

I love this channel. I am 40 and work a highly depressing corporate job and this channel reminds me of when I didn’t have a care in the world and all I wanted to do was game. I literally just listen to it all day while in meetings and it keeps me sane. Thank you guys so much.

@@Exarathas I'm someone who also doesn't love their job. The answer for why I stay is: to survive. The cost of living where I am (London, UK) is insanely high and the wages on offer elsewhere are not particularly great. I also have a second answer, which is: I am very highly anxious and so uncertainty, change, and stress can really put me on a downward spiral. I wish it wasn't so, its really inconvenient, but I've discovered its very important to avoid shifting gears before I'm truly ready.
@@Exarathas most jobs will be boring/depressing after some time. not all people can turn the things they love to a job. some might, most who do that are not well-paid also. there are these few lucky people who do what they love and get paid good for it (not saying it was just luck, I am sure they tried hard for it). but most people just want that clock to hit 5 and then go do the things they love. it's a compromise. and it's about survival.

Tipping culture is definitely out of hand. It's at a point where I have people saying a 20% tip is considered a bad tip. Like what reality do you live in? I never expected tips when I was doing pizza delviery back in college, it was always a bonus.

And if workers are not getting paid then they are staying at home, bootlegging and doing whatever to make ends meet instead of paying for the real thing. And raising game prices to 70 dollars only raises the risk of someone not buying the game considering the trend of buggy unfinished games are starting to be more common. inflation is envitable especially when the consumers quality of life is raised considerably. We dont factor in technology and uncessary goods that we depend on a everyday basis. So go ahead and keep inflating the prices and not raising the minimum wage and see what happens. Its going to be more then the gaming industry thats going to be struggling. When Obama came out with his stimilus plan to give money to stuggling workers, it single handedly got us out of the recession. It literally stimilated to the economy. Which shows the power of trickle up economics in oppose to trickle down economics. If consumers are not spending, no one is getting a raise but the CEO. What the gaming industry and other markets are doing is trying to figure ways to get more money out of us without paying us more. Its that simple. That explanation alone is the very reason the class gap between the lower and upper class is getting wider.

And for the fact that a popular Indie Developer company is supporting Godot is fantastic news for the Gaming community because Godot is 100% free 100% royalty free and 100% supported by contributor developers. The more Godot gets more light in the gaming community, the more support it will get in funding and development. I myself am a software developer for 15 years and I must say Godot is very simple to use not to mention you can build in script or C++. You can also extend the native script by creating powerful C++ modules that will execute your code more efficiently. Any skilled game developer the sky is the limit on what you can build, you just got to build it from scrap. The more the community extends the native scripting the more powerful it will become. If this indie company decides to become a contributor to Godot, would mean that the code they utilized in the game would be accessible to the community. The indie company could also sell their scripts on the market for more profit.

Ubisoft graphics honestly makes everyone look ugly. Compare it to Jedi Fallen Order which came out a few years ago looks so much better.
It’s so weird with Ubisoft, because some of their games don’t look that bad. Far Cry 2-5 looked great in the time they came out, especially (!!) the faces. They just stopped caring at some point.

Was talking with a friend about the show. Cooper kills 1 power armor in one shot at the end. Couldn't handle maximus the first time they meet...

He was also using armor piercing ammo while he had the brotherhood distracted with his smooth cowboy drawl.
He uses his OP pistol to blow a hole in the power armors weak point in the finale, he runs out of ammo when he tries to use the pistol on Lucy and Maximus blocks it with his backside in Filly. Obviously the rifle isn't strong enough, and the pistol appears to use some type of explosive/concussive round.
I swear people forget how rating works and there are numbers between 0 and 10. 7 out of 10 is nothing to sleep at. That is a very very good score, I swear this IGN mindset of it's either a 10 or it's garbage BS needs to stop. Not everything that comes out is either perfect or dog s*** That's why the 0 to 10 system exists because there are vast amounts of space between the quality of a product

I hope Season 2 will be cooked even better than Season 1. There are so many things the producers haven't shown yet from the franchise thus more room for improvement. Like with Fallout game characters, Seasons can be improved to be better too over time.
The fact that I heard a producer said that Season 2 is ready to release as soon as Amazon extend the series is quite interesting.
I do hope that Todd Howard not waste all these good publicity for the series and do something bad for Fallout 5 (microtransaction, paid locked DLC at day 1, etc..)
I think the issue is they split up the season/video(s) into a 2 parter. As if it’s invincible szn 2 kinda energy. Personally i think it’s an 8/10 of a show. A solid performance & the best video game adaptation ever made.

Having a weird looking main character is the least of Outlaws problems when the game is being sold for as much as $200 in Australia for the highest tier edition. You may as well buy Stellar Blade instead.
I liked the series and I feel like l AJ should not have to apologize but the problem is that this is AJ and Crews lively hood! They are not a big channel 3.29 million subs is a lot but they barely get the million views. Other channels are run by one person. AJ has his friends that he has to pay. He has to make you guys understand his view when he shouldn’t but you guys go crazy. Wish these guys would have more subscribers especially for OJ and Alex. AJ not so much lol.

I honestly feel bad for Harada. Murry, and the rest of the DEV TEAM. If you watch their Tekken Talks, you can see how fucking exhausted those guys look. People always throw their complaints at dev teams of huge corps like Bamco when it comes to micro-transactions. The dev team can't really control that aspect of their games unless their independent. If the publisher or upper management of that company says put it in, it's going in. Harada is high in the company, but I don't think he's at that level yet. At least this shit in fighting games doesn't affect the core gameplay, like shooters do. Not having all the colors in SF6 or costumes in T8 won't make characters stronger or me better at the game. But not having the latest guns in the battle pass meta in COD will. I just find it disingenuous when people claim to love and respect devs but act like this toward them, just because they can't yell at the people who really need to hear it.

I don't feel particularly safe leaving my card information on any company acc to be honest, the track record of them losing the clients information is alarming.

You know, if you think about it, doing the subscription service for 1 month to play Outlaws, and then cancelling it is kind of like renting it from a video store or Blockbuster from way back in the day. If you look at it that way, you feel like less of asshole about giving Ubisoft any money for a Star Wars game. :)

Quick note for the "Fallout Review fallout section" of the previous video, there are spoilers for the show encase anyone hasn't watched it or finished it. (I only mention this as they come up real quick at the start of the segment with now warning.)
Alex is correct about the BF2042 composer(s). Hildur Guðnadóttir and her partner Sam Slater did the music and also won an Oscar for Joker (they're doing the sequel) and for Chernobyl TV series. I think EA saw the opportunity to get an Oscar winner to do the sound/music design which in itself is very well done but do I think its good video game music? no. It's a shame that EA couldn't ultilise such amazing artists better.. I bet they would thrive in an action/thriller/horror type of game.

Reminds me of when I was doing my apprenticeship struggling to have any money to myself due to paying travel fees and board only to find that I was the ONLY apprentice having to... talking about holidays, buying stuff, etc. and I was there like "you guys have money?"
I had so little (£10 to myself per month iirc) that I was prime for the ol' "we'll pay your board and travel expensives every month if you do the late shift but when we move office we'll move you back" only for them to not move me back and make me redundant.... Felt great.
Like fuck. I didn't have pocket money when I was younger. I'm used to having no money because there simply wasn't any to be wasted on shit. If I wanted a game it had to be my birthday or Christmas and even then we had a shared PS2/PS3.
I have never played a single fallout game ever, I was willing to give the series a try just because I saw its trailer on AJS, I have seen the fallout series twice already, and I still believe that a 7/10 is a perfect score for the series. I don't know what people are thinking when they say that the show is a 9?. A 9 or a 10 on any scale has to be almost perfect or downright perfect. This series however has a lot of potential but it's handling of the middle episodes of the series is where things fall short for me. I'd say it's a 7/10 all day long. Waiting for season 2 to release.
"I have never played a single fallout game ever", that's the reason why it's 7/10. For some or many hardcore fans the score is higher for them because the show is catered towards them. And for the disappointed few, it didn't meet expectations or head cannon. I don't think it's unfathomable to see fans rate things they enjoy slightly extreme.
Btw Joe, Manor Lords is only going into early access on the 26th of April- it´s not full release.

The Fallout show started out great, then started going downhill in the second half, so I definitely agree with you all's score. 7/10 for me, dog.
Tipping is a decent idea, but I think having production thresholds or profit sharing would make more sense. The overall goal of boosting developer compensation, however, is a good one.

I watched the shitty movie 'lockout' based on a review that hated the movie. It was great! Or that is to say, I enjoyed it. It was paint by numbers sci-fi movie with die hard and escape from New York twist. The guy from Misfits was great.

He has good and bad reviews because they are not critics, they are normal pple who review things and that's the appealing of his show, grown ass 90s/80s guys reviewing things (he, OJ and Alex). I love that movie and the only thing better than Machete is Machete 2. There will never be a Machete 3 but if there was, I would be in the theater day one.

@@JacobSantosDev I think CZcams is a job, like any other. The customers are more complicated than any other line of business and I totally get that. But when you get lazy and pple call out your a$s, you have to take the criticism and try to be better, that's what everyone has to do in their jobs or you get fking fired. He doesn't get fired from CZcams but he does not take criticism and that pisses some suscribers. Joe has lazy periods, where he just do random sht and review things poorly. Other times he writes these masterful pieces of art reviews and you sort of forgive his misses. I followed his work back when he had a website and CZcams had a star rating, I know he can be way better than this.

Team Fortress 2 had stamps for every map to "tip" the creators. I remember buying a stamp from my favourite map Turbine for 80 cents in 2010 and felt really generous.

You do not have to cancel the Ubi + after finishing the game. You can sub and cancel literally next day. Your sub will remain active for the whole month. Same way as basically any sub service out there.

No, only the mainstream popular ones everyone plays are getting worse. The Arc System games, specifically Under Night and Melty Blood are amazing and give color editors and even free characters…but they are anime fighters and apparently people don’t bother with them 🤷🏻♂️

I liked the series and I agree with you that AJ should not have to apologize but the problem is that this is AJ and Crews lively hood! They are not a big channel 3.29 million subs is a lot but they barely get the million views. Other channels are run by one person. AJ has his friends that he has to pay. Wish these guys would have more subscribers especially for OJ and Alex. AJ not so much lol.
