Today, I'm bringing you an intense kettlebell workout inspired by Joe Rogan's training regimen. This two-part workout combines bodyweight exercises with kettlebell movements to give you a comprehensive full-body routine. Perfect for anyone looking to build strength, endurance, and overall fitness, this workout is designed to challenge all fitness levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, this Joe Rogan inspired workout will push you to your limits and help you achieve your fitness goals.
Part 1: Bodyweight Exercises
We start with a solid foundation of bodyweight exercises to warm up and engage all major muscle groups. This part consists of:
- 100 Push Ups: Perform 20 push-ups per set for a total of 5 sets.
- 100 Bodyweight Squats: Perform 20 bodyweight squats per set for a total of 5 sets.
By dividing the reps into supersets, we maintain a high intensity while ensuring proper form and endurance. This segment prepares your body for the more challenging kettlebell portion of the workout.
Part 2: Kettlebell Training
Now that you're warmed up, it's time to move on to the kettlebells. This section focuses on explosive strength and muscle endurance with a variety of dynamic movements. Each exercise is performed for 3 sets of 10 reps per side where applicable:
1. Kettlebell Cleans: 10 cleans per side for 3 sets.
2. Kettlebell Press/Jerk: 10 presses or jerks per side for 3 sets.
3. Kettlebell Goblet Squats: 10 reps for 3 sets.
4. Kettlebell Thrusters: 10 reps for 3 sets.

Nice one. The last 2 exercises i would do with double kettlebells, feels more comfortable. As others pointed out, push ups should be all the way, but otherwise great routine thanks!
Goddamn that was hard. 32kg proved too much for 6 rounds of cleans and then presses, had to adapt and move down to 28 and even 24 towards the end. Legs I did with double 20s and the last one with double 16.
I felt right on the limit so was good decision to listen to my body.
I am amazed how you can do with 32 so well

Hey man I have a question about kettlebell weight progression,i can snatch, clean and push press, front rack squat,get up, single arm swing, overhead lunge my 32 kg kettlebell but i can't windmill, bent press, overhead squat and ofcorce strict press it, you think can i progress to the 36 kg with extra care??????

Great workout! out of curiosity, why do you do shortened pushups and not full extensions up and down?
There's a lot of reasons for partial range of motion (ROM) but a lot of the calisthenics guys and inmates do them like this for strict tension on the chest muscle fibers only. Gives a massive pump!
im assuming because its 20reps, pretty high rep range to do full rom, atleast for me :x

@@Priestwhitelotus I'm pretty sure going full range of motion is a better workout. But I'll try the shorter myself and see if it's more challenging.

I agree that those half push ups. I was also concerned with the how they were coming out of those cleans. Both seemed to be leaning too far back. Even though this is criticism I don't mean it to be harsh or cruel in any way. If I am incorrect, please, correct me. My main concern here is making sure that people watching this don't injure themselves.
I’m relatively new to kettlebells. Besides the pushups, Will this workout affext your chest ? I’m in my mid fifties so I do a lot of pushups each week to avoid man boobs !
Clean diet will help. But generally yes, push-ups will improve your chest muscles but you wont be having that muscle bra look just from them, that type of chest requires immense work to achieve.
58 here. I'm pretty.lean, but a lifetime of benching has put some meat on my chest, and at this age, it wants to get a little flabby. About 6 months ago, I removed the flat bench entirely, in favor of incline dumbbells. That has helped pull things up a bit.
