In this video, I am going to make a simple leather trucker wallet.

I'm not a trucker but this is what I have been looking for for to keep my 8.4 inch tablet and keyboard and taxi card in going places. Love keeping things light and minimalist. This is great

I like your stitching technique; specifically because you do not cut a thread-line, just impress one. Also being new to leather crafting, I noticed you use ordinary workshop tools and show more of your technique than use of performance crafting tools. IMHO I am learning a tremendous amount from leather smiths like yourself. Thank you for sharing.

New to your channel and leathercraft. You've made a great video that didn't skip the nitty gritty of the hobby. Fairly easy to follow along and replicate in real time. Great job! I only wish that you would have spoken, done a voiceover or at least added subtitles explaining what and why you're doing specific things. That alone would do volumes for a video like this.

Thank you very much!!! I am afraid I wouldn't recommend to make this wallet out of a 5mm thick leather, I think 3mm is the thickest you will need!!!

Any home center it’s just a utility knife best thing is when it gets dull just flip blade around use the other side are buy extra blades and change them out !

Hi, thanks for your watching, I've been busy... the piece of cow hide in this project is approximately 4mm thick, and the tread used is called 210D, about 2mm wide, flat thread. and spacing is 7mm.

What is the liquid you use on the board?
You can use either water of burnishing gum to slick the side of the leather.
