I know this is an old video but I was wondering about how much extra clearance you made from the measurement of the laptop? I have about 5 oz crazy horse leather I am wanting to use to make this for my laptop
I love your videos but one thing just can't escape my eye. That stitching man, it's so in your face - thick white thread, huge holes with large gaps in between... It just looks unsophisticated.

Is there a way to calculate how much extra margin to add around the size of any object to ensure the perfect snug fit and would it work on items like Apple wireless headphone cases or other items you want a snug fit for?

Politically Speaking I was thinking the same think. That cigarette lighter cover looks really snug. Don’t know if this one was moulded.
