Great job to both GenRacer and Hyundai N! Raw deal with that MINI incident last year... very professional to exclude that.
The EN is a great family car that I can take my kids to school, and also bang out 20 minute lap sessions on track while the more expensive "track ready" competitors are pulling off early due to overheating - looking at you CTR FL5

Good job GenRacer, Jeff Ricca, and Hyundai USA. It was incredible to see the progression of the Elantra N TC car. Jeff is the best ambassador for the brand on the race track

The cars have some modifications that aren't available in the market yet and there's a lot of deeper setup at play depending on the tire, aero, effective spring rates, and other changes to the car.
      Presuming it's a reasonably stock car on a 70tw or 200tw tire, start by running -3.0° F / -2.0° R camber, 0.00 toe F / 0.05 - 0.10 toe-in R, and even out the front caster to 5.5 - 7.0° on both sides if you have any adjustment range.
Take the car through some hot laps, then start working through the tire pressure to hit the tire's target pressure and bring the center of the tire up/down in temp to reduce the difference across the tire face. Once the tire temps are in the ballpark you can start logging tire temps by bringing the car in hot and having someone quickly take tire temp readings. Adjust until tire temps are reasonably even (accounting for any temp bias from the last few turns, etc).
Once you have camber reasonably set, start adjusting the rear toe towards zero and make adjustments to the front toe as needed to give you the rotation (yaw) dynamics you prefer with a bit of added lateral grip from bump toe, ideally when you can use it ... kinematics don't always play along.
You'll have to make other changes along the way to balance out the level of tire grip available for accel / cornering / braking. That's entirely dependent on track, car, and other things.
As you add-in more and more aero, power, braking, etc be expected to change all of this. Aero is especially challenging because of its ride height and yaw sensitivity, but that's a deeper, more experienced problem to solve.

Basically what I learned from this video is that if I ever decide to race my car... It's gonna break.. Normal street cars are not intended to be pushed on a track lol

They need to work on customer service at the dealership. We own a 2018 Sonata…. One and done Hyundai owners. NEVER AGAIN! The oil consumption issues for that year needs to be addressed! Dangerous!

Got 57,000km on my 2023 Elantra N and no oil consumption issue (I do my own oil change). However, EN's transmission seal is leaking (my driveway is a mess) and waiting to see if they're going to warranty it (already been about a month and nothing). Also own a 2021 Kona (the one with premium leather seats) and no oil Consumption issue.

@@anthonyscott5484 A lot of Hyundais are fire hazards. The anti theft did not exist. I would try to spread that information as far as possible to prevent anyone from having a negative, unsafe or harmful experience. I’ve never witnessed a car brand be that negligent or sell that crappy of a product. We had to take our car in for the paint peeling off! Took months of complaining, no help. Next time you are driving, if you ever see a white Hyundai with the paint all rusting off.. doesn’t even have to be an older car.. it is due to Hyundai’s practices. Not the owner. Also, to add to that the car is at 60K miles. Additionally, like I originally stated, now we are on terrible internal safety issues. So yeah, I’ll try my best to warn. I’d like to add that I found this channel on the Hyundai page when I originally bought the car. I was wowed by the technology they are describing in this video but that is the only think they have going for them.. again.. they need to help these people with this MASS oil issue. They are selling the MASSES crap cars and NOT helping us.
