nope..this had better tones and production than Fear is What Keeps Us Here, but listen to the melodies. Just kinda bland as an album like Fear again... I am still waiting for LIberate or Funeral of God's type of breakthrough album to come back. Those two ablums (and Where Fire and, yes, even a few songs from Self Titled) were filled with just groundbreaking stuff that stood on its own two legs..this sounds like its trying to be Neurosis then Deftones...both good bands, but together, sound boring
well said. I feel like Awake and Fear is what keeps us here are some of their worst albums. I don't like any songs from Awake. I also feel like they put 'Romance of the Southern Spirit' on there to just have a more 'mainstream' Hot Topic-play friendly track. Even though that track is from Funeral of God (bonus track on Japanese import CD).
