I love this vibe and sound so freaking much. It’s funny how there aren’t that many views but i bet all of us who love this style would be very similar people. Apparently there aren’t a lot of us. Represent.
I like Rock and Punk music, but after watching Stranger Things, I discovered this band. I love the nostalgia and the vibes this band makes. I love their work.
I saw this band back in 2014 opening up for Com Truise and they totally blew the roof off that place. Absolute show stealers. I can’t imagine how Com Truise must have felt having to follow them with his glorified DJ set.
This is incredibly good! This is way beyond the usual synthwave stuff that sounds mostly the same. Really good song architecture and great soundscapes.
The guy one the far left in the black T-shirt (Adam I think) is in another awesome band, Troller. Check them out. One of the best live shows I’ve seen, along with SURVIVE of course.
I saw 4 guys were credited for these songs in the credits of of 'the guest' and I couldn't imagine how 4 guys could make these songs. This makes it more plausible but I still can't imagine the writing process
The perks of having several band members... you can play almost all instruments live (except maybe some drum tracks). In a one-man band you may need to make compromises.
Suppose it depends how many tracks you have.. Some pop songs with 40+ tracks sound shit, some with 8 or less are works of art... Understand what you you mean though... Fewer the band members the more that needs to be sequenced although it's still triggered live and not played back..
Awesome. I heard of Gunship then I discovered them. I’m a huge metal head but survive is awesome. I’ll tell you guys of a story. My best friend ended up as a security manager at my high school so I got to go back and wonder around with him. We jammed most of survives catalog and had a great time telling stories while listening to them.
I dream to have 3 friends with a good taste in music to make something legendary like this.

It's a bit out of tune, but it does justice in this live performance. Great version of the track!
With analog synths tuning goes a bit out, and keeping 8 synthesizers tuned to the same pitch can be quite a task
