How I love this, how the tunes grow when performed live. It´s wilder. I hear people say that Floating Points is the next step and I believe they´re right. Popular music doesn´t get more modern than this.

Influences from 1970s jazz rock: Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chick Corea and Brand X.
To understand how brilliant this is you must consume it within the context of hearing the studio versions. Fantastic....
Not to mention how they unify the entire performance with sounds / themes from the beginning moments to tie everything together in reconciliation at the end.
