43:00 best version of Air Run you'll ever find
liquid gold! cannot believe they play a track like this fully live..
Electronic musicians who think they don't need a drummer should have listen to this one.
I agree with you, but it's not so easy to find a drummer who is OK to play with a metronome in his headphones (if you want him to stay in sync with synths and effects!)
Is not easy to find a drummer who wants to play with metronome on studio either 🤣
@@weloveroy yes !😊
The drummer is just fantastic here
I agree. Everything sounds just right he does.. Snare is so warm, yet crispy. perfect mixing. What set does he play?
Dave Grohl, he’s always good on drums isnt he 😊
Especially in "Don't be light"
I am an air fan since 1998, one of my favorite bands ever.
The Doors could sound like this nowadays..Air are incredible and so underrated...one of the best bands ever...so artistic..
Underrated? Are you serious?
I noticed on one song the Keyboards were very "Doors like" or Manzarek influenced.. track 2 I think..'.don't be light'...
Jims voice could never go that squeaky 😂
@md144 I agree. It's how the guy is playing the organ.
I can't express how disappointed I am that as a Sydney sider I missed this gig, and how happy I am at the same time that this recording exists. God bless AIR
Don't express you weren't meant to be there duh
Has to be the greatest boiler room session ever.
I just discovered these guys, jesus christ that was trippy, amazing, I'm telling everyone
Same buddy, wow what a performance!
I'm drunk
Run Live gives me goosebumps on the goosebumps that the studio version of Run already gave me!
It has almost been two decades since I heard AIR for the first time and each time I listen to them it feels like a fresh breeze...of air
The same here. Hence the name: :D
I was there that night.
It was part of "Vivid", an annual light show all around Sydney originally devised by Brian Eno.
What a wonderful night.
It seems a thousand years away now.
The Bass solo on Don't be light is the best
Glenn Gould, François de Roubaix, Serge Gainsbourg & Air... All make the world better!
... Ennio Morricone ...
5 years later I’ve never heard of AIR. Just found this today and will listen to everything they have. So so so good✌️
update?
👉🏾I first discovered, Air, back in 2006, while working at a neighborhood cafe here in Brooklyn. I selected a random CD to play. The album was, "Moon Safari!" I never heard of them. Every song that came on, captivated me. I played, "Moon Safari" every shift. Their music is timeless! 😁
The same for me. But that was in 1998 ❤
Saw Air Live at the Brixton Academy, nearly 20 years ago now. Their music is still brilliant today.
Met them backstage at Santa Barbara Bowl! So nice and down to earth. 🇫🇷 the actress from an early AIR video was there too.
French music !!! yeahhh !!!! Dunckel and Godin are magic !!! I love the drummer ! :)
The drummer killed it!!!
I was 15 years old when I got the chance to see Air live at T in the Park in 2001. Magical finisher for the festival. We were all high and loving it.
I've been listenig to these guys since 1998 and have always wanted to see them live. Thx for the upload
Same, never hapenned yet.
This has to set a record for most keyboards on stage at one time.
Really air is good for everything, for love, anxiety, dreams, summer cocktails, drifting into space or flying over the ocean not as an human but only the energy itself, raindrops falling listening to this, makes me feel like im some kind of time machine going back in time and the same time into the present and future and out of space being everywhere and nothing, a sereen place where you can be anything you want to be, want to be the tree, yes you can! Its like air is the perfect joint
I wouldnt explain it better, you put the right words to my thoughts about Air. Cheers
That is exactly how I felt, saludos de México
nice
Fantastic
We are the same feeling
''Kelly Watch The Stars'' 58:26 ! AIR,Jean-Michel Jarre,Cassius,Phoenix,Justice,Daft Punk,M83...Poland Loves French Electronic Music ;-)
There's nothing like AIR.
Try 'Oxygene' by Jean Michel Jarre.
I'm so so so happy that this was uploaded and they got to perform on such a stage. It's so hard finding live Air performances on YT, and this is just incredible.
Yep, there's a couple of great live shows that have been taken down which is silly. Hope this one stays on haha
Are you the drummer?
Damn right bro
10 000 Hertz Legend has to pretty much be my #1 favourite album of all time.
It's a crying shame these guys don't always bring the organic instrumentation on tours like the flute on Cherry Blossom Girl, and different elements from songs that would presumably be challenging to pull off live. It'd still be nice to see though.
We'll take what we can get, let's not get bold. That being said, I havent seen a live version of "All I need", so it seems for whatever reason, they never play it live.
Saw Air at the Opera House in 2010 - transcendental!
im a huge air fan and this is about to be my first time seeing a live video so im hyped af
Sounding that good is supernatural. There are exceptional sound guys working behind the band.
One of the best live sounds I've ever heard
3:33 WOWWWW his chord voicings have gotten SO refined over the years on those god damn onion-cutting Rhodes riffs. Damn, incredible performance! The French do music best!
A neighbour introduced me to Moon Safari back in the day and AIR has been a favourite ever since. Thanks for this because I’ve never had the opportunity to see a live show.
This live version of La Femme d'Argent is incredible
The change of progression in cherry blossom girl is just UUUUURRRRGGGGHHHH! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Word.
I used to travel to Japan a lot. This song, and many other Air songs, was incredible listening while walking in very early mornings in Tokyo or other Japanese cities. It was always a beautiful feeling. Their music is just incredible.
Perfect soundtrack on your way back home after massive club nights at the end of the 90's...
My flashback also exactly!
still perfect nowadays aha

Forever!
Excellent sound quality, congrats to the recording crew of the Boiler Room and thanks for publishing it.
...thanks - that was the greatest live show I have ever witnessed - the synths and the lo-fi bass+drums make Air's groove unique...
Amazing concert. So pure, so simple. The recording quality is amazing (both video and audio). Bravo Air! Fantastique performance, un retour aux sources, à l’essentiel. Magnifique!
please never take this down
Desearía que más gente escuchara AIR, realmente son fabulosos
It's true
Lo bueno es para pocos.
Lucky you :)
I love them since 2000 maybe 2001. I was 12 back then and nom i'm 29 near 30 and i stll love it. They are such inspiration for me and my generation. All those synths, Solina, Moogs, SH101. Even i'm more house/techno guy i stll love a sound of AIR. Still fresh and iconic!
Is water that important? yes it is necessary for life, but, for how long can you live without food? a week or so? how long can you live without water, a few days? for how long can you hold your breath and live without AIR?
Damn! They played "Alone in Kyoto" here.
I'm quite sure I will never be able to get over their beautiful set at Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City two years ago.
This set is a gem.
Those versions of 'People in the City' and 'Radian', and the fade in between, give me the chills everytime I listen to it. So much better than the studio versions. What a band! ♥️
Yeah for sure, I'm loving it too. The power of Live, where they can mess around with jams they came up with in practice and not have to follow any rules to be radio friendly, maybe!
GREAT CONCERT!!! GREAT BAND!!! GREAT SOUND!!! GREAT SONGS!!! ALL GREAT!!!
Soooo much love ❤ I'm about to see them live again for their Moon Safari tour, i'm so excited...it will be awesome. Thanks JB and Nicolas for all you gave us. 🥰
I love the sound of the voice in how does it make you feel, also I like the way they slow down a little bit for the 2nd verse
AIR gives me the chills they are so damn good.
Got to love a band that plays banjo andwhistles! Such a great performance, just getting on with it and superb support from the guest musicians.
i love boiler room. thank you! air is so perfectly blissful.
This is magic, it's magic...music is the only language all people do understand. La Femme d'Argent is wonderful
Brilliant!! Thanks for posting saw them quite some time ago now, such a great band
"Run" from 46:00 to 47:35 is totally out of this world, i wish to know more songs with theses vibes. If people here has some recommendations to share with me, it will be a huge pleasure. thank you ! Thanks Boiler Room for the quality of the upload.

what an astonishing, amazing concert and the outro on La Femme d'Argent though!
Thanks for shering this live! I LOVE AIR!!
This is very similar to the gig they played here in NY recently. Thanks for this upload, another great performance by AIR.
i adore this Band
wonderful
have not expected that much from live
I love this. Wish they were more prolific. This live version of Run & Alone in Kyoto is also pretty incredible.
this is my favorite thing
So lucky to have been there to experience it in person. ❤
An absolute delight finding this!!
Spectacular sounds - so glad to find this.
amazing live concert, thanks for sharing
Beautiful music. Crazy drummer. :-)
AIR is just amazing - love em'.
Cant wait to see them live in concert one day!
Amo esta banda!
Fantastic, I watched the live stream of this concert, thank you
Cannot wait for this in Dublin this Sunday!!
This sounds beyond beautiful. I used to listen to them on repeat walking to High School every morning. The memories are flooding back. The instrumentation is gorgeous...hope to see them live sometime. Thanks for posting this.
It doesn't get any better than this! Transcendence Intensifies with this band.
a little bit of phaser and reverb on most of the synths is awesome.
I've really enjoyed watching this and a similar video from their museum concert. It looks like they're playing most of it live which is great to see. It sounds really good, they have some genius compositions, fair play to them.Their extra keyboard player and drummer are really good too.
One of the coolest bits is the 2nd keyboard player on the synth bass like at 13:37.
I think that's the one of the most incredible concert of the modern era! I think I saw it 10 times since the release and never tired of seeing it. What an incredible band!
Musica di gran classe e raffinatezza, con echi di jazz e di progressive rock. Questo concerto è bellissimo !
just amazing ... i love them since day one
same here
Stunning performance, they come over as effortlessly cool.
How this live didnt reach many millions of views?!
Perhaps cause they are French, and so, poorly known. Hello from France
Tremendous as always, and i love how they include the more obscure tracks that only the true fans will know. And then remix them up. True pros.
what a great and potent version of "how does it make you feel?"
Quite amazing. Really beautiful.
beautiful and wonderful!!!
