Thats the reason why assembly lube exists. Its a very soft oil that is designed to protect the engine long enough for the engine oil to lubricate.
Absolutely. The engine was assembled with assembly line. But it doesn’t hurt to spin the engine over with oil prior to firing

FYI, these mod motors do not spin fast enough to build fuel pressure in cranking conditions. It's more advantageous to prime the engine with motor oil with a hand pump, a quart or 2 will often do the trick. Then make sure the oil level is topped off.
