A note on the magnetic dip stick option for this generator. In the video I show how the o-ring does not seat right due to the casting on the motor and it is chamfered. I updated the links in the video description as you will need a nitrile flat washer to seal the magnetic dip stick properly. Hope this helps!

Well done review....very thorough. I own 7 generators but only one of the 1000/1200 watt units. They are so light and so handy they get carried around a lot more than the larger units. Super useful at this wattage range for charging up batteries at the model aircraft flying field. Hour meter and magnetic oil stick all standard on mine as well

Great video! Crazy that they went with hard mounts under the engine. It seems like they had the space for a rubber mount. Amazing that the 2 units are nearly identical on sound level. It would be neat if they made a propane only inverter gen, and used that extra space in the case for a bigger muffler and more sound attenuation. Even an oversized case.

Indeed. I would love a 1- 1.2kW gen that is all propane or dual fuel. Going propane only would save weight and size by getting rid of the gas tank. Use that space for sound deadening like you said and a really good muffler. Make it super quiet.

I thought ALP Generator's made one? It's 1000w and runs only on propane. It's a little pricey though, I picked the Pulsar PGD16ISCO up for 249.
