I have an XRT that I have been running 100 percent in stock form for a year now, and no issues, I do have a Xmaxx that I have gone through a couple servos but been lucky with XRT, but none of your mods are a bad thing, all would be fine upgrades!!!

I have the XRT with the Orange body all stock for now 😱 but, I just got some upgrades, I have a 2nd body in red from Traxxas for 109.00, upgraded the servo to the Traxxas 2085x for $95.00, added the X-Maxx Traxxas light kit for $100 and I got the Jetko 1/5 Belted low profile Tomahawk tires with red rims for 105.00 a pair lastly got a 4ch Traxxas remote to control LED lights strips mounted inside the bodies(on ch.3) and a roof mounted multi-color lightbar with 20 colors(on ch.4). Then keep the stock 20/50 gearing🤔 and call it a day. I'm a light in the azz basher (grass, pavement and hardly any jumps) just keeping it fun w/o trashing a rig that’s over $1k with add-ons! Great channel learned a lot here. 👍 Also looking at a (Trim 2 Fit) Chassis Warp from darksidestudioarts. 🤔 😊
I’ve been luck not having wing problems gear problems. Or center drive shaft issue even the stock motor mounts been good I have the upgraded differential waiting to break mine and added the traxxas upgraded speed gears but overall just been breaking fan blades on the XRT 😢cool vid 👌
I’m not going to trash mine, just ordered. Just going to play on concrete and keep it simple. Maybe screw with my chickens and English Mastiff a bit😂 Good video👊

Please help! My first rc and I want to go big! Going with the xrt! Do you recommend the xrt ultimate over the regular xrt? I don’t mind upgrading parts myself if it will be faster and stronger for the money. But if their ultimate special edition is a good deal please let me know. Thanks! Price is not an issue. What is my concern is that I want the best upgrades and I don’t know if the ultimate gives you that for the money! Thanks!

If you are going for upgrades get the stock, sell the original parts as new and buy the upgrades. Won't cost as much as the ultimate but will be completely customised

Got my xrt about a week ago put 2 packs threw it and it stripped the pinion and spur smh

i bought the 21 tooth pinion but what pins do i put my motor on for correct fit
I have the badlands on my widemaxx and love them they have excellent traction
I heard a lot of positive feedbacks about the badlands on the maxx. I want to change the stock tires, however, I don’t know the correct pair (pinion gear). Could you advise?

ha, well I try to show the cars with stock power since most people are not going to buy a $1k truck and immediately dump another $300+ in electronics.

Honestly, as you can see, I've been jumping it 25 feet high and haven't broken it.
I like an rc that challenges you to keep it in control and and upright, I don’t think this offers these challenges like the Xmaxx does
