This is a drum cover of "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" from the 1977 album "Animals" by Pink Floyd.
Filmed and edited by me using Adobe Premiere, audio edited on Cubase 7 by me.
Using my Tama Superstar Hyperdrive kit, I love it.

I just discovered your videos, i probably have watched like 10 tonight. This one is one of my favorites, my favorite pink floyd's album also. The cowbell was cool, but it seems like you don't need it that much. I'll wait for the Atom hearts mother Suite cover too, like i reead in one of your comments.
Im a guitarist/drummer too, so i know it's hard to cover Pink floyd's songs, but it looks like you make it so simple...

My pleasure Ewan. I have been a drummer on and off for around 30 years now, and for the last 22 months I"ve been working on my project which is Dark side of the moon, my all time favourite album. Literally around 1200 hours plus of drumming since December 2014.....blood sweat and tears...you know the thing...you've done it.
I did a sound recording to a karaoke back track and that made me drift a little from Nicks 'finer points'. THEN, I saw your vids, and was pulled back in line by your absolutely faithful rendition of Dark side.
I will be sure to mention you when my video gets done on the 30th October. You have an awesome future as a drummer!

Where is the bell?
Marius LOBEL It's fine without it.
Nick mason isn’t playing the bell, if you listen closely he is still playing a 16th note hihat pattern. The cowbell is studio effects
Auxiliary Band Nick did play cowbell. He was hitting the cowbell and the snare and He was using the hi hat’s pedal instead of hitting it.
I think the bell is later added
Professor practice Possibly. Although it is possible that Nick could’ve been doing all 3. I’m not sure.

Sounds great. Nice performance. But listen to it again and listen how long Nick Mason goes before he hits a crash. He will go an entire verse without hit one crash. You hit one almost every four beats. Leave those out and just focus on the groove. Moving to your crashes is breaking up that killer pocket. Give it a try. Great job again.

Thanks Denis! I have tried to cover Beatles in the past. Their record company is very strict and most Beatles covers get taken down straight away. Which is a shame because I a m a huge Beatles fan :(
