I've been searching for someone to correctly play the fill between Happiest Days and Another Brick 2 for 30 years. I've seen Nick Mason live twice and it wasn't even as good as he did it in studio. Congratulations! You rock.
Thank you! Already checked out my other Pink Floyd covers? Finished Dark Side Of The Moon now posting Animals and A Saucerful Of Secrets, Meddle, Wish You Were Here and The Wall will follow :)
@@Progdrummernb Please take your time. It doesn't really matter when you release it, as long as you do at some point. Also when will you start Octavarium by Dream Theater?
@@MaelstromMephistoPEM I am a huge Dream Theater fan. My first two years of drumming was Genesis and Phil Collins every day. 2012 I discovered DT and they changed my horizon in music so much. 2012-2015 I learned all the DT songs from the Portnoy era. First of all I will do the 70's Prog stuff Genesis, Rush, Pink Floyd and so on and after that I will do the more Metal bands like DT, Opeth, Tool, Nightwish and many more. Havent played much double bass during the last months so it will take a few weeks to be back in my double bass comfort zone
The challenging thing for me is to play it as correct as possible. I want every fill in to be perfect. And thats really difficult about Pink Floyd. But of course its physically and technically not nearly as demanding as Collins, Bruford, Peart or Palmer
@@DragonTamerCos The challenging thing about Nick Masons drumming is to stay in his layed back rhythm. Collins, Peart, Bruford, Palmer and Portnoy (My 5 fav drummers) are all forward drummers and so you really have to be so much in the rythm and not behind it. Thats why I look a bit different in my Pink Floyd covers
Hoy venía escuchando el primer disco de Camel, y si bien en la primer formación eran 4 músicos formidables, venía prestando atención en lo asombroso que era Andy Ward como baterista. Do you know him? Do you like him? Tienes pensado hacer algún cover de Camel?
Today I was listening to Camel's first album, and although there were 4 formidable musicians in the first formation, I was paying attention to how amazing Andy Ward was as a drummer. Do you plan to make some cover of Camel?
@@Cachalesco Thanks for transtlating :) I love Camel and Andy Ward is an amazing drummer indeed. The album Mirage is planned for January 2020 and The Snow Goose later next year :)
Depends on how much money you want to spend. The "new" Sabian XSR cymbals are amazing I use the 12" Splash and the 14" and 17" Crash and they are sounding so amazing. If my old XS20 cymbals broke I would exchange them with the XSR cymbals. So I would defnitely say for the normal cymbals like Crahes, Hats, Ride and Chinas the XSR is the best in price-performance ratio. For the effect cymbals like Stacks, Mini Chinas, O-Zone cymbals, bells and so on, I prefer Meinl and Stagg.
I have 800 covers on my channel from so many different bands and so many different drummers. I need different equipment for those different stuff to be able to play it as perfect as I want it to be
I think Nick Mason would be proud. Another fantastic job Niko!
Thank you!!!
Wow! well played
I can't believe the original has all these splash cymbals, either way this sounds great!

This must be much less challenging than Bruford or Collins?
Yea idk, doesn't seem like hes as into it as when he has something difficult

Competent cover, but why so many drums/cymbals ? Mucho OTT !
