I retired after 30 years as a police officer. I would not in a million years have an alcoholic drink and then drive my cruiser. He should be fired just for that incident. What is wrong with law enforcement in MA? I am really confused how anyone could objectively look at the evidence and still think Karen Read is guilty. I knew nothing about this case when it started and I did not research during the trial. I only looked at the evidence that was presented. I would love to hear how some jurors believe Karen is guilty.

Absolute certainty of innocence and beyond that cover-up is apparent by any rational person suffering through these months of trial. He went rogue with his televised persecution (yes, persecution) of defendant Read and his contemptible attitude about his own office's diligent perfection so unless he drops charges against Karen Read a second trial wasting tax dollars will doom re-election. Candidly speaking, there could be enough Voter outrage as facts unfold that Bills could be rushed through the Commonwealth adversely impacting his and other state pensioners' retirement.
