Dave & Tasha, you honestly should be so proud of yourselves for the amazing life you gave Boone. There are so many people out there (I am NOT one of them) that would give up the second they had to start putting diapers on their dog. You took the dog on walks in a carriage! You carried him everywhere and Boone was there waiting for his younger brother to come home. Sometimes dogs know more than we do and I think Boone just wanted to meet Auggie and tell him he loved him and to let him know he was in great hands, then went to the rainbow bridge. I cry with both of you. It’s heartbreaking to lose a furbaby. They are like our children. You have so many amazing memories to share with Auggie as he grows up. ♥️

Dave and Tasha I’m so sorry about Boone. Anyone who has ever had a pet can totally relate to what you’re going through. I am watching your video in tears and my elderly cat gets upset that I am getting upset. It’s amazing what they can sense. I don’t know if I have two days or two years left with my cat but I know it’s gonna be devastating when I’m in the same boat as you two. I’m so glad you have your baby to preoccupy your mind and get you through this time. (Along with all the wonderful memories you have of Boone.)

Dave and Tasha, I feel your pain. I too had a dog who lived for 17 years and we had to put him down 8 months ago. I think about him to this day and miss him beyond belief. I will pray for you both. After the loss of our 13yr old Golden Cooper the pain was so bad so I know exactly how you are all feeling. The little fur balls?? Yes I guarantee you will continue to find them for a long time. And if like me, you will break down all over again. Boone had the best life because he had parents that loved him dearly and treated him like a son and not just a pet. Boone waited for Augie to come, so they could get well acquainted, and he knew all was well! People like us consider our pets family. Others throw them away like trash. Last night I brought home a new baby kitty to join my old man kitty! His mother was left in a box at the no kill shelter, & delivered for kittens a few days later & much earlier thàn she should, & passed hours later. A girl in the apt above me works at the shelter & brought the kittens home to foster. I met all 4 kitties when she was bringing them home, but fell in love immediately with 1 of them. He got fixed yesterday & was released to my care 4 hrs later to adopt. I swear my old man kitty has suddenly got 5 yrs younger, & they are both feeling each other out! If you get a new pet down the road, & you will, adopt, don't shop! I would have taken every dog & cat home with me if I could! 😭😭😭 Big hugs to you both! 🫂🫂
