      wonderful -howaya
sorry to be so annoying but let me tell ye im making headway
we need to update convention centres so imagine if they all link up with this mission progress
      space studios
hosting space hotel layouts and mars rover prototypes etc e.s.a the European space agency is funding 50,000 to whoever opens a new arcadia with space
satellite vendors and the whole nine yards but i havnt got the contacts
      a maker space
with robotics, a.i showcasing and computer building a random crafts lounge possibly called the crazy alien A.I cafe with perpetual motion marble machines and so on..
a global innovation platform staring the footprint coalition
with global projects and tourguides and displays on clean energy, vertical farming and so on
      other concepts range from
parcel drones to robo chefs and lawnmowers to hairdressers to u.v micro herb incubators and artists impressions of med beds with sci fi partician walls you start to build a picture,, possibly key card access to certain zones with sensitive tech
oceanic robotics demos for recycling and gold collecting small submarines
id love a rooftop garden dome with solar water features and violins but that probably a bit down the line
if you can pull this off then youll find me waiting to connect from a convention centre from god knows where but the plan is to connect them all and build more better versions
i just need help with writing this out clearer and as a promotion flyer for recruiting more vendors robots and people lost looking for a mission
go on help me rewrite this wonderful crazy masterpiece lol

i gotta ask, how long does the plastic last for? i saw a documentary on a museum trying to find ways to preserve items from like the 1920's and stuff made from plastic, with things like glasses, and art pieces etc, and apparently its very hard because the plastic degrades over time way quicker than something made from stone or wood or metal, and the plastic begins changing and getting sticky etc. the other thing i saw was someone with a huge action figure collection, and his teenage mutant ninja turtles despite being only 30 years old, if that, the plastic has actually become sticky enough that he can stick them to a wall and they stay there. pieces like these costumes, and even 3D printed artwork, how the heck do you preserve something like that for future generations?

That 1st jacket would be great for people who ride motorcycles at night, so not just for fashion but for extra safety. She should look into holographic chocolate, as the holographic look doesnt come from a layer of plastic but the structure of the surface the chocolate is pored onto. I have been designing futuristic clothing for a while now , I would love to speak with her and maybe do a piece together, it would really show off a whole new dimension in fashion design and show what 3d printing is actually capable of.

@@Danuxsy A reflex vest does not serve the same purpose. A reflex vest does not produce its own light. In addition, the lighted jacket could easily be programmed to more clearly show things like turn signals more clearly.
Also, going from casual wear/street wear and bike wear fluidly is not at all possible with a reflex vest. That isn’t even factoring in practical aspects such as wind protection and even armoured protection for riding.
Ultimately, a reflex vest and this jacket could not be interchangeable when functioning as a bike jacket.

As someone who went to art college, this video is a masterclass. It shows how artists create and reveals some important aspects of the creative process: the repetitive and iterative discovery of the aesthetic characteristics of the material; the acceptance of it as it is, not as a simulacrum of another material; the use of the unavoidable seams to create patterns instead of accepting it as a flaw, and the rebellion against the normal process of printing by inserting a net mid-process, or not using it as it was supposed to, submitting it to her desired outcome. These and Adam's last comment about knowing the direction after jumping head-first into the project make for a great interview!!!!

This stuff really blows my mind. When I think about 3D printing, I think of the typical things that get printed. Mechanical parts and models to be painted, scaled down items, test items. Things with a functional purpose. These things on display in this video, however, have more of that artistic life sort of feel as opposed to the hardware feel of your typical 3D item. What Sophy and others like her are doing really is expanding what I imagine 3D printers doing and how creative they can really get. The flexible integration of that mesh fabric was just something else.

WOW..!! My daughter. was bug eyed watching Sophy with her creations. She is in the 9th grade and makes things with 3D pen and 3D printer. Obviously, I need to get some of that fabric for her to work with.
