Bravo Bishop Lance Davis and Dormeti Pongo,
This may have been over a year old but it Still RELEVANT and has now found me.
I am also 50% Ghanaian living in London and shortly to bring major projects in Ghana.. The intent is to create job opportunities through these projects so as to persuade , hopefully, many of our brothers and sisters to stay permanently or at the very least for a year.
I will like to connect with your organisation to work towards meeting the objects which is to create an incentive for MOST of the youth to return ' Home'

Adinkra means farewell. When the Ashantis invented the Adinkra symbols 500 years ago, they made thousands of the symbols the British saw them as a powerful people because the Ashantis wanted to use the Adinkra symbols as their form of writings like the Chinese Kanjis or the Japanese writtings, The British wandered how they could use their mind to create such a thing and the Britsh also thought that if the Ashantis learns how to write on their own their empire will be more powerful..Another war was broke out between the British and the Ashantis, the King of Gyaaman who rebelled from the Ashanti empire took bribe from the British and showed where the symbols were hidden and the British bomb that building making some of the symbols burn to cynders but fortunately not all the symbols was burnt, but they could not get up to the thousands symbols they created, the Ashantis then captured the King of Gyaaman the usuper and beheaded him,The symbols was named ADINKRA, 'Adinkra means farewell'.

Africans have been existing before America was discovered. And Europeans have been doing business with Africans in many goods but human slavery was not part of it. In ancient Africa they trade by barter. It means they were no money, although cowries were later used. Africans practiced servitude system called “Pawn system “.A man who needs rice but don’t have anything in exchange can provide human services in exchange for bag of rice. He doesn’t have to do it himself. It service could be provided by his son or daughter or any part of his family. Such servitude could be for a month or year. It depends on the arrangements between the rice owner and him. There were also prisoners of wars. These prisoners of war from enemy Kingdoms or Empire were not sold or used as “cartel slavery system. In fact,in ancient Africa such prisoners of war rose to king or important personalities in their adopted societies. When America was discovered the Europeans who were doing businesses in Gold, leather,Exotic animals and ivory saw the difference in language, world views in the Africans decided to orchestrate wars amongst the Africans. Example: the French orchestrated war between Fon and Yoruba, while the English orchestrated and incited war between Yoruba and Fon. The same tactic being repeated all over Africa. During these orchestrated wars prisoners captured by both side were encouraged by Europeans to be exchanged for European goods. The same deception were also used by Arabs before Europeans. In fact,Europeans learned the system of Cartel slavery systems from Arabs. Unfortunately for Africans they never had a system that unified them like the Europeans who had Christianity and Arabs Islam as unifications. What Africans were practising was spirituality. Spirituality is tailored to a specific people, not the entire race. Also Africans don’t identify themselves with skin colour but by geography, language, culture and spirituality. There was nothing like “Black peoples “,no Pan Africanism, they recognised the people in their Kingdoms and Empires. Many of these kingdoms or Empire are bigger than most countries. All these made for easy penetration by foreigners. It was pure lie that Africans sold themselves.Remember those captured prisoners left Brothers,Mother,Sisters, Aunties and Fathers at home in Africa who were depressed and heart broken.
