Having read the Jack Ryan/Clancy novels, each has it's distinct flavor, so season two was it's own story that separated itself from season one.

Season 2 was dissapointing.. the writing was forced and the climax was shallow.. so much production value but didn't live upto season 1

I was pleasantly surprised by this series - it did a great job with ryan character, and balancing his "everyman" vs. his "total awesome" range.
Also, have to say the antagonist was very well done - intelligent, driven and methodical - not just a caricature of a "fanatic".
Season 2 was good as well - just would have liked to see some consistency in jack's love interest.

Parallel universe, Jim was a Jack all along. He worked in Scranton in an undercover capacity. Shrute farms secretly had nuclear silos under ground. Jim was tasked to keep an eye on it and to make sure Dwight does not go digging around too deep.
That is why he kept on pranking dwight and wasting his time. So that dwight doesn't get around to actually digging around the nuclear silo. It makes so much sense now.

It’s not too bad of a series, I wish they’d of done it true to the books, and had it sit in that same time. That and without remorse as well.
If ‘Without Remorse’ had held to the book, it would have been one of the best movies from the Tom Clancy novels. I do care who they had as the lead, the actor they used in the pos one that they put out would be fine. Just hold to the book.
