- Since I do not suffer from trypophobia, I am happy to use this decorative technique when processing wood. It helps in those moments when the base is so uneven that in order to align it, you will have to cut down almost the entire thickness, almost to zero. That is a sweet top. I like the thought behind the design. The legs do not do it justice whatsoever. If you did thick legs with the golf ball design on them as well this would be one of the coolest tables ever.
The grain of that wood, and the way you brought it out, chef’s kiss. I admire your creativity, and bravery in carrying that chunk of wood in your bare feet.

Oh my the grain in that wood is amazing? What kind of wood is it? You did the simplest things to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. Beautiful job!
This tree is a mulberry tree, I discovered it about 6 years ago and since then I appreciate it very much. Its yellow color later acquires a natural brown patina, making it similar to teak. Mulberry is a fairly hard wood and works well, and nothing warps when dry. In other words, a perfect material created by our creator.

Really like the look and design. Have my own differing opinion on the finish, but are you concerned with wood movement/expansion that the fasteners how they are will lead to the wood cracking?

your editing, your quality of choice in every aspect of what you do, as we could list so much; that also can mean your impeccable taste in design, material and tools.
I am so glad we found you, we both look forward to binging your channel and seeing what else you have created or recreated.
This table, as so many here have already stated, is above and beyond magnificent (insert 100 Thesaurus words for 'magnificent work of art' here)
Incredibly bold choice as that piece itself must have been very expensive and you just went for it. And boy did that work out nicely. It encourages me to RESTORE+CREATE {Recreate}
Give me about 20 years to catch up!
There really is no comparison however. Unique and clean in an emaculate shop. Keeping in mind that I am not coveting, but appreciating and recognizing the amount of time and effort you put into your work, and why the outcome has the uniqueness that rises above the norm to become a craftsman's masterpiece.
Lastly, it took me over half the video to get the channel name, 😂 love it.
Thanks for the inspiration that may have just lit the fire that makes me want to re-create like an artist on a mission.

I like ur technique of accentuating the grain n the bl. Locust flitch ( I’m presuming, as it looks to me that is what it is) great way to enhance the look to the typically bland species, now looks more reminiscent of bocote, which I love that species. Well done, very inspiring. At first I was pained to see you applying something more like a stain application ( I know ur using Osmo n not stain) but upon seeing the finished results, U knocked it’s out of the park, and still preserving the natural beauty of Bl. Locust. Absolutely, well done! Now I have some inspiration on the stack of bl. Locust flitches I have. Cheers bud!!
You are right, it was a very dangerous dark osmo coating trick, but I was sure that everything would work out as it should.
And I really managed to highlight the wood pattern very well.
As a result, the table turned out to be very contrasting and saturated ✌️😉👍
