- Hi! This is the continuation and final part of the video where I make a table for my apartment. You can see the first one at this link • $4000 it's Worth It | ...
It turned out to be a rather complex and interesting woodworking project, so that the epoxy resin would not sink, I created supporting joints in the form of swallow tails, and also strengthened cracks in the wood with them.
It turned out to be a very beautiful table made of American walnut, I'm sure you will be pleased to watch this video. Enjoy watching! #asmr #nomorewords #butterflytable - Jak na to + styl
The bottom side actually looks even more spectacular than the top side
I totally agree
Yeah was hoping that was gonna be used as the top
Absolutely beautiful start to finish! Stunning.
Very fine!!
One of the best I saw yet.
Well, you are highly creative!
Very nice I love this work
🧐 EXCELLENT WORK 👍👌👀
I love this table! But then I love all the items you make. What I love most is the way the wood comes alive with whatever finish you use. Thank you so much ❤!
Thank you very much for your creative understanding of my works 🤝😉👍
I must say, the end result was well worth the wait! Your talent never ceases to entertain, educate and amaze. I am definitely a fan for life! It is truly beautiful.
Thank you so much James!
I'm glad that I was able to enjoy watching it 🤝😉👍
Very nice. I liked the joint work underneath so much that I'd have had it on the top. Very nice.
I agree, the lower part turned out beautiful, but the main grain of the wood was all on top.
But if I want to see the beautiful part, I can just lie under the table and enjoy the view 🤣👍
Hi 👋, Nice Table, well done, that was well, and truly bowtied, 😂, great job, Phil from the moulin France.
Wow!!!!
That turned out beautifully. I like how you accommodated for wood movement and included a sturdy frame that is out of sight and will keep the tabletop flat. Nice work.
Absolutely amazing the table turned out beautiful. Amazing job as always a true craftsman and artist.
The flow of colors and shapes in wood is like the ocean you can stare and get lost in it over and over. Like the flow of the ocean wood takes a corresponding shape on its edge which always attracts and keeps the eye. When using a rectangle (or near rectangle) proportions are very important. Beautiful finishes on beautiful wood on both sides. Wonder if you considered using the underside as the top.
Excelente trabajo. Con la gran facilidad del equipo utilizado, pero hay que saber usarlo.
Really beautiful professionalism ...
Undoubtedly, definitely, unique design, unprecedented workmanship, unparalleled masterpiece. Thanks always
AWESOME!!! I love it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!!!
Modern carpenter modern shop

You are right, it was really a lot of work and it was worth it.

Absolutely beautiful table! ❤ I love all the supportive structures you put into it. An excellent example of how much you love your hobby. 😊 thank you for sharing your passion for woodworking. ❤

❤very nice ❤
I love url work it's amazing beautifully designed
A Fabulous piece of art
I like the old one.😂
Nice clean look
The epoxy helped you save that slab of wood. Beautiful table!
What a fantastic video. It's so relaxing to watch a true craftsman at work. Just brilliant.
👍 Nice!
Nice bro.
Beautiful table
Did Festool see this video? They’re not going to be happy that you showed how to cut a straight line with a board and 2 clamps! Your table is a beauty!
Such talent and skill. The result make me "wowww" 😄😄
Class table, keep the videos coming!
a beautiful table 👍
Absolutely gorgeous livingroom table! Great job!💪
Cool table. I like your portable CNC.
Beautiful work.
VERY NICE !!!!
Fantastic
I cannot believe that you, a woodworker, furniture designer, had such a run-down cracked table. :))))) I would say even the couch needs a revamp.
材料雖然美中不足,但是 經過您的細心處理製作,最後出來的成品,很亮眼,讚👍😊
WOW I LOVE IT
Beautiful table.
Beautiful!!
Thank you so much 😄 🙌
You must restore the old one!
Stunning table. Not sure which side I liked better. The bottom looks incredible with all the bow ties. Must have been hard for you to decide how to complete the table? The wood is incredibly intricate and beautiful to look at. The end result is absolutely gorgeous, nice work!
Ese tablero pide a gritos que se le dé la vuelta, aunque como se dice en España...para gustos están los colores. El proceso de trabajo es un espectáculo. FELICIDADES!!!!
With the amount of labor and large amount of epoxy resin I wonder if a better slab could have been obtained. I love the piece and the speed of the vid is perfect. Looking forward to many more.
Excellent work as usual.
Magnifique table, quel talent !!!
Magnifique
Beautiful man, absolutely perfect, nice job !!!
BELLISSIMO!
Love the table but I also like the way you done your form and the easy clean up after the de-mould ,, good job lovely look to that walnut 💪💪
Nice work. And beautiful Shiba inu
Thank you very much!
Glad you liked this video.
My Shiba says hello to you 😉🤝🐕
Well that's an improvement 😝
Parabens ficou perfeita
Wow the end result is incredible. Well worth the wait. I wish I could order a new sewing cabinet, lol
Really like the table but question your choice in legs especially how they are fastened. Personally I would have inlayed a metal track that legs would have been fastened to. But I really like the table
Very cool!
Very beautiful 😍
Bloody brilliant 👍
Thank you very much Natalie 🖐 😊
Beautiful
Its interesting the things we create are a direct reflection of our state of mind and the tools we choose.
I completely agree with you, this is a valuable truth 🤝😉👍
WOW amazing
Those cross slats are glued in, yet we expect them to allow seasonal expansion? I don’t see how this won’t warp.
AWESOME I REALLY LOVE YOUR WORK 😊
splendid !
Awesome
Very Nice ! 👍👍😊
I like the old tablet. Would you send it to me?😅
I would be glad to give it to you, but I'm afraid that is not possible.
First of all, I am on the other side of the ocean and delivery will be very difficult and expensive.
Secondly, it’s not worth it at all, it’s made of cheap wood and won’t last for a long time 😅
@@no_more_words Can't refute your arguments😁😁. Nice work! Congrats
Nice work
What a bewidering array of gizmos. Are these carpenters stupendously wealthy ?
9:30 sanding epoxy resin without any mask, that's a NO-GO for your health 😭
Otherwise, fantastic job! Well done! 🤙🏼
A resina ficou parecendo 2 pessoas encostando a cabeça 👏
👏👏👏👏👌
Beautiful table. What is the adhesive that you used, and what did you use to seal the bottom to the table? i know it was some kind of silicone, but which type? Thanks in advance
Unglaubliche Handwerkskunst😂😂
You sir have earned my like and sub. It’s a shame all the hard work is hidden beneath it. I know that’s how making things goes sometimes. I would have used those bow ties as templets and made bow ties all the way through the table and or go deeper with maybe a contrasting wood and left the epoxy for the bottom. Regardless it’s gorgeous! My opinion is just my opinion and Im definitely not trying to take away from your craft. Keep the videos coming!
The bottom is more beautiful😘
Hello, can you please assist me regarding an issue.
basically, the problem is I have dining wood chairs which are almost 30 years old. Some years ago, they started to move from their joints. According to woodworkers, if they will try to fix them by nalis and hammer, wood will start to chipper off as the wood is old. Can you something for their restoration
What a Upgrade, we can clearly see a big improvement here compair to your old table ^^, What is it you use as "epoxy" ? is it a cheapest kind ?
One things that worries me is the frame on the underside. At 9:45, you made those holes to help with the expansion (realistically, they'll only help with the first 3 inches around side of the table, given that the perpendicular support beams almost go all the way through the table), but the big rectangle frame basically locks the whole table in place and doesn't really allow any movement. Unless you take showers in your livingroom, I.m sure its not gonna crack, but it's a good thing to look out for in the future
Thank you very much for your comment, you are very observant.
But the thing is that I attached the lower frame to the transverse rails, thereby allowing the table to move according to the season. ✌️😉👌
@@no_more_words Apparently not observant enough! Missed that part, great idea!
It's my fault, I paid too little attention to this moment.
This was really bugging me too. It was only after going back that I could see that the cross pieces were sliding dovetails and the slots routed after the fact were just to give more room.
Absolutely true 😉👌
My question is did you do something to allow your top to expand and contract on your stretchers? It looks like you just did a round hole. And put a bolt in. Maybe you over sized the hole?
Great question 👍
Take a close look at where I screw in the threaded nuts!
I screwed them into the movable slides, which are secured with a dovetail.
This table is in my home and the wood breathes perfectly 💪👍😉
Fantastico 👍🇮🇨
Grazie mille 😉👌
..wonderful table...but...i think were it i doing this project i would have made a base that would allow me to drop the top into...this way i could switch back and forth now and then..the underside is just as amazing..imo
nice job. did you deliberately put the CHESTER brand upside down?
Gadgetry!
