We went to Aomori Nebuta Matsuri festival in Aomori! It's one of the largest festival in the Tōhoku region and it really was spectacular!

Great to see you get involved in nebuta festival as I am Japanese! I hope that more foreign people will be interested in Japanese tradition. I feel better than any other traditional music when hearing matsuribayashi,the music played in this video. It is so powerful!

How could I forget the Swedish couple going to even "YAMADERA" deep in the North.. Both of you seemed to explore gentry but deeply of our cultures, locations and traditions which I appreciate very much of your activities. Hope your visiting and staying our country and see and experience "JAPAN." successfully.

Hello! Great video! Where did you stay during Nebuta? We are trying to book some accommodation but everything is booked out!
Thank you :) I'm glad you like it! We booked a hotel in another town near, Hachinohe. We took the train from there and it worked perfectly fine. I hope you find something!
@@inmyshoes372 thanks for the answer! After the parade you took the train to Hachinohe? At around which time was that? I heard that usually the last train is quite complicated to catch since there is too much confusion around the area...
@@antoniodias2883 The Nebuta festival is really close to the station. Alot of people but not complicated at all. I think the last train was around 12 or something and we could se the whole festival :) But maybe it depends on which day you go, we where there the first day I think!
