I left the church when I was 14. I am 32 now, and so much has happened. I lost my faith, got it back again, looked for signs, prayed, and I am unable to go back to church because I don't have a vehicle to get there, but I have been watching these videos and conferences and testimonies. Very inspiring and my faith is back now more than ever. I feel good.

You can watch meetings from internet, phone or computer. Contact your ward and they will send you links. Hang in there. You will receive what you need when you need it. Not before, not after. My testimonies came randomly and not when I asked. Test of faith, prevail, receive blessing.

Exactly! It's incredible how quickly things have taken a turn for the worse and how it seems to get worse each and every day! The Lord isn't just quietly inviting people to come to Him before it's too late anymore. He's PLEADING with people very loudly and very obviously to open up their eyes and ears regarding everything that is going on around them He's shouting, "PLEASE humble yourselves enough to turn to Him and repent; to help others in need (no matter what their needs are); and to treat each other with kindness and love regardless of personal differences." He's not only pleading with others who are without religion, but also, and maybe even especially, with people who DO have religion in their lives. People who disregard the things they have learned and continually excuse their behavior as if they are the exception who don't have to do what they have been taught and commanded to do.
I am so privileged to be a member of this one true church. I was not lucky enough to be raised in the church. It took me many years to find my church family. I am greatful beyond words to have found a family here on earth ❤I testify that we are the most value t of souls who came to teach the gospel in the last days!
I love that when I’m in a bad situation or feeling scared, I can watch these amazing talks and feel at peace and calm. I am beyond grateful to be apart of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I wouldn’t want it any other want.

Thank you. I somehow feel after this Coronavirus and Earthquake in Utah along with Moroni being shook, to the point that his trumpet fell. The stores running out of food and supplies and all the other disasters. It definitely close. It will be in my lifetime. I hope it’s not to late for me. I just recently went back to Church. I found my happiness and peace through those who didn’t give up on me. I pray more, I read, study, and ponder. My life has profoundly changed. I hope the Lord will know me. I want to be by his side. I’ve been active all my life. Yet, I still wonder, Am I good enough? I’ve done prepper activities most of my life, enduring the mocking from both family and church. But “business” and anxiety have caused that I’ve spent more time preparing physically than I have spiritually. This is 2020 and end of days is finally here. I want to be on the Lords side when HE arrives.
It's never too late to repent and come back to Christ until after the 1000 years of the millennium and the final war with Satan... Then comes the final judgement. So you're definitely not too late!!
I am grateful for the 2 Missionaries who came to our house back in 1984 and invite me to come unto Christ. I was still single that time Now i am married with 3 Children who also served Fulltime Missionaries..And Married in the Temple..I have a Family who have been blessed by the Lord grateful for his love...

Love that Elder Oaks doesn't beat around the bush, and says it like it is. The better we understand where we stand with regards to truth, the faster we can change for the better. Making the initial pain of being told the truth when in the wrong worth it...and when in the right, peace and reassurance.
Yes!!! I have felt lately that our General Authorities are not as bold as previous generations, like the 70s when they denounced evil with great energy. But as I listen again, I realize that's not true. I especially loved this one. President Oaks is one of my favorites.
We’ve all been treated to the directness of this crop of prophets and apostles. People used to yearn for it. McKay, Kimball, Benson, Hinckley, Monson, Nelson, Maxwell, Eyring, Oaks, Holland, *Packer*, Perry, Bednar, maybe Christofferson and many before are the last of their kind. Moving forward, after them, I feel we will be taught a watered down gospel for the weak, a lesser law if you will. Sad. So sad. I will miss this man!

This helps me to realize that even though I get tired and do not feel good in my head and body, I still have responsibilities to take care of things, and take care of myself too.
I am thankful for the missionaries that came to our home and told us about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1967. I have a strong testimony of a true Prophet upon the Earth now too. I know that God lives and that Jesus Christ is our Saviour and I love him. I recieve so many blessings each day. Amen
Regarding Matthew 25 and the foolish virgins.. that is NOT doctrine for the Christian and losing their salvation. Christians CANNOT lose their salvation, but Jews during the Tribulation can because they’re saved by faith AND WORKS. The Church is considered to be the BRIDE throughout the whole Bible, not as virgins waiting to “meet” the Bridegroom Matt 25:1 “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to MEET the bridegroom.” KJV There’s not a single member of the Body of Christ in this entire chapter. These “virgins” do not go to marry “the bridegroom” , they go to “meet” Him, because He is ALREADY married! Read Luke 12:36 “And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.” KJV The Bride of Christ is NEVER referred to as “virgins” in the plural; she is ONE Ephesians 4:4 “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;” And we are ESPOUSED to CHRIST, and we are like a chaste virgin (singular) 1 Corinthians 11:2 “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” These “virgins” are mentioned in Psalm 45:14 and Song of Solomon 1:3 and 6:8 as SEPARATE from the Bride. As I listened to Elder Oaks I feel the Holy Ghost witness to me that Christ will come to rule and reign on earth. I must be prepared and help all of my family to be prepared and all those who will follow the Christ to be prepared. This talk is about our readiness to live in the presence of our Lord and Redeemer. May we all become ready and worthy to do so.
I was baptize when I was 22 years old. That was in the year 1983. The year before that, I met the Missionaries. I know our Heavenly Father has called me to join in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints cause he heard my Prayer. I told Him I want to serve Him but I wasn't sure if the Catholic Church is the right place forcme to serve. So instead of being a Nun, I became GOD's Ambassador as a Proselyting Missionary and Self Reliance Sister Missionary. Then during my Mission I was privileged to meet and shooke hands with Elder Russel M. Nelson, Elder Dallin H. Oaks and other Apostles. I was really happy that President Russel M. Nelson and President Dallin H. Oakes became our Living Prophets including President Henry B Eyring. I know our Great Leaders are fore-ordained to become our Leaders in our Generation.And I am so thankful we receive all these Revelations for our Preparation in returning home to our Heavenly parents. And for our Family to be reunited. What a great day to look forward to. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

Hi Kevin, I respectfully disagree with what you say. You said that Christians cannot loose their salvation. Everyone especially Christians, need to keep the commandments of God to be saved. Christ taught, if you love me keep my commandments, if you love me feed my sheep. We also need to repent daily, in order to be saved. Since God knows everything, it would be much more logical that this parable would be applicable to the whole human family, rather than the very few Hebrew population, compared to everyone that would come across this parable and read it. Concerning the gracious sacrifice of Devine substitution that Jesus performed for each of us, it is only through him that we are saved, however we have to choose to access his grace through our faith. We have our own free will so he's not going to just force us to be saved by his grace. We have to fill our cup of faith with the water that comes from his fountain of Grace, to be saved in his kingdom. If we accept him with our lips only, but don't really love him, and love our neighbor as ourselves, our "faith," is fake. I hope this helps clarify some misunderstanding. God bless you!
I have a witness of this message and of the restored gospel of Christ. I am coming back to the church and preparing for rebaptism. I am so thankful for the gift of repentance and for my Savior. I know the fullness of the gospel of Christ has been restored to the earth as one of the prerequisite signs of the second coming of Christ. It truly is not far off and now is the time to prepare

Just today Jamie bombings happened, in Isteal. The Gaza Strip is in turmail. South America is toast. (Venezuelan and Honduran folks are in calamity. On the positive side, President Nelson announced (12) new temples and tons of missionaries are on active duty, in the Lords Army. I'm writing this on October 27th, 2018. Both of them talk about the hinge point that is very significant in the church's timeline. The wheat and the tares are being gathered as we speak... President Nelson's talk in April 2020 ensign is eye opening as well.
I'm soo thankful I was able to meet Pres Oaks and his darling wife in Thailand 2003-2005. I know the Church is TRUE and it's getting closer and closer. Looking forward to THE LORD.
I'm so greatful to hear this message from President Oaks and I love hearing his other talks. I know he is such help with things to our Prophet Russell M. Nelson. I love to share with others this message. I was baptized at age 12, but as we moved to the different Southern area they had fewer missionaries and churches in those years, I found it hard for these Military people to continue to have people come and stay. And I just continue to pray for others and help. Moved back to my beautiful sisters and many more churches in this State and I love the fact that they found my record,then it was lost, not one time but twice. I just asked for another Baptism on July 5,2020 I just love studying and sharing with others. Have a wonderful message and pictures of Jesus Christ on my door. Have not just food storage, but medical supplies for anybody. I love Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ and our Holy Ghost 🙏
Living by the principals of the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me peace and contentment. With everything that is happening in the world, I do not feel scared or fear for the future. I know it is on its course for the return of my Savior. That is the future for all that accept Jesus Christs and his promise to all that are the pure in heart.
The 10:00 minute mark going forward is profound. I pray that my temporal and spiritual preparations will suffice. I pray I'll be ready to lift and nurture others around me. God loves His elect. Desolating sickness sweeps the land, the overflowing scourge covers the earth... "Scourge" is only used one way in the Book of Mormon; the scourge is the "Assyrian" of Isaiah, the "little horn" of John. The desolating sickness paves the way FOR the scourge: "An overflowing scourge will cover the earth, FOR (or BECAUSE) a desolating sickness will sweep the land..." (D&C 45).
Exactly! Did you also know that Australia was overwhelmed by a pestilence of bats in January? And Africa had a pestilence of locusts destroying their crops? I feel extremely bad for them because they will starve unless their government will let other countries help them. Anyway, basically everything that's been mentioned in the scriptures as "signs of the times" has happened except for having the gospel taught in all countries.

This suddenly showed up in my Recommended section. I don't know what made the CZcams algorithm do that, I haven't been watching conference talks or anything like it. This is super relevant right now though. I'm expecting conference to be like President Nelson said, "unforgettable".
I feel these words to the very core of my being. Here while the world is in commotion, everyone quarentined in the midst of global pandemic, earthquakes and hurricanes happening despite it all, my biggest fear is not being spiritually prepared enough to recognize the Saviour when he comes. I don't want to be someone that misses it, so to speak. The next time he comes it won't be in a blaze of glory for the whole world to witness, but rather we are told He will come like a thief in the night, quietly and in the shadows where only those who are like Him will see him as he is and know him. I want to know when He has come. I want to be so prepared that I feel it before I see it. Let the Earth shake and the plaques come, these things don't frighten me. What frightens me the most is my own weakness that coaxes me to fall asleep when I need to stay awake.
It is so inspiring to listen to people's experience who have drifted away from the gospel and left the covenant path and then returned. It is one thing to be courageous and stay on the path but it's even more courageous and inspiring as you hear people with the courage to come back and do what's right rather than refusing to admit they made a mistake. I have made my share of mistakes and found that it's much better to quickly admit and get back on the path so that we can have the comforting guidance of the Holy Ghost. I am so proud of those that share their experience, it builds my testimony. I Share my witness that I to know that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are blessed with our Savior Jesus Christ who loves us and he speaks to his church through prophets and has blessed us with the second witness of him in the Book of Mormon.
All that are happening now are what God wants us to ponder and give heed that we have to start preparing ourselves for His coming. Thank you for all the revelations that we receive continually from our living prophet. ❤

Im greatful for the words that have been spoken here. My strengths come from my faith in my Lord Jesus Christ, Line upon line here a little there a little. I love my Saviour with all my heart, and l know he loves me, he believes in me, and l believe in him my strength comes from him! And with out him l know lm nothing. The Church is comprised of all people belonging to Christianity. It's not a single organization like the lds church. Any organization that says they are the only true church should be a red flag.
Steven C The true and living church is the church Christ organised during His earthly ministry. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restoration of that church in the latter days.
@@tdubs5128 While I agree that eternal truth can absolutely be found anywhere, even outside of Christianity, the fullness of His gospel cannot be found just anywhere. And while I have attended many Christian organizations to gather truth and information, in the coming days I'll be glad to have the opportunity to follow the Lords apostles and a living prophet, called of God to be a mouthpiece for Him, who receives modern revelation from Him for our benefit. I, like many, would not have these opportunities had I closed my heart to the possibility, dismissing it's entirety due to my perceived red flags.
I've had the oppurtunity to study finance and some of the intricacies within that profession. Many things are currently unfolding and it's been humbling for me to gain a cecculor point of view as well as a spiritual point of view for things that will come to pass. Times are upon us and though we may not know the day and time, something that has helped me to remain diligent and obediant in my covenants is the reassurance all will be made right through the atonement of our Savior. We are fortunate to have access to such divine truths and the proper steps to ensure our foundation is eternally solid. Remember one of the last things our big brother, our Savior, our Lord taught on Earth. "Love one another, even as I have loved you" stated three times to his diciples. Keep shining bright! A Saint is a sinner who keeps on trying. If you're reading this, keep trying. God supplies the vessel and the oil that perfects. Don't let Satan trick you into thinking you have to be flawless, you have to be faithful in Christ. Keep trying.
That is because to be fore warned is to be more prepared for what one needs to do in order to survive what will come. If not, too many live in fear, which is not what the Lord would want any person to do. All may know how to be ready. It is just like the parable of the wedding. If you were late, the gate was closed and you missed the service. Why miss out in being ready, when it can be so easy to be prepared in hard times? It has served many well, to get by in hard times of all kinds of problems. Losses in floods, fires, and climate changes are things we are all facing. Being prepared to 'let go of just stuff' and rejoice that you live, is part of that preparedness. Those who do so, find losses more easily dealt with, and can move on. I know many who are fire fighters, medics and so forth, have this point of view and they have the courage to not quit. That is needed in today's world if we are to help each other. It is the simple acts of life that keep one going, and not to 'give up'. So, even a 72 hour kit can help get one ready to leave in a moments notice with ease and less of a panic as to what to take! It is why all governments now recommend these things for every household. Yet, LDS people have done this for many years, even before WW1. But, that not the point. Just expand your abilities, care for your neighbours, and watching out for each other will help one to overcome all things we will be faced with. Never live in fear. Live in joy and grace and gratitude. Life is a gift. Its challenges can make us stronger and wiser, but we have to be willing to take part, not run from it.

Exactly! It's incredible how quickly things have taken a turn for the worse and how it seems to get worse each and every day! The Lord isn't just quietly inviting people to come to Him before it's too late anymore. He's PLEADING with people very loudly and very obviously to open up their eyes and ears regarding everything that is going on around them He's shouting, "PLEASE humble yourselves enough to turn to Him and repent; to help others in need (no matter what their needs are); and to treat each other with kindness and love regardless of personal differences."
He's not only pleading with others who are without religion, but also, and maybe even especially, with people who DO have religion in their lives. People who disregard the things they have learned and continually excuse their behavior as if they are the exception who don't have to do what they have been taught and commanded to do.
I am so privileged to be a member of this one true church. I was not lucky enough to be raised in the church. It took me many years to find my church family. I am greatful beyond words to have found a family here on earth ❤I testify that we are the most value t of souls who came to teach the gospel in the last days!

Thank you. I somehow feel after this Coronavirus and Earthquake in Utah along with Moroni being shook, to the point that his trumpet fell. The stores running out of food and supplies and all the other disasters. It definitely close. It will be in my lifetime. I hope it’s not to late for me. I just recently went back to Church. I found my happiness and peace through those who didn’t give up on me. I pray more, I read, study, and ponder. My life has profoundly changed. I hope the Lord will know me. I want to be by his side. I’ve been active all my life. Yet, I still wonder, Am I good enough? I’ve done prepper activities most of my life, enduring the mocking from both family and church. But “business” and anxiety have caused that I’ve spent more time preparing physically than I have spiritually. This is 2020 and end of days is finally here. I want to be on the Lords side when HE arrives.
It's never too late to repent and come back to Christ until after the 1000 years of the millennium and the final war with Satan... Then comes the final judgement. So you're definitely not too late!!
I am grateful for the 2 Missionaries who came to our house back in 1984 and invite me to come unto Christ. I was still single that time Now i am married with 3 Children who also served Fulltime Missionaries..And Married in the Temple..I have a Family who have been blessed by the Lord grateful for his love...

Love that Elder Oaks doesn't beat around the bush, and says it like it is. The better we understand where we stand with regards to truth, the faster we can change for the better. Making the initial pain of being told the truth when in the wrong worth it...and when in the right, peace and reassurance.
Yes!!! I have felt lately that our General Authorities are not as bold as previous generations, like the 70s when they denounced evil with great energy. But as I listen again, I realize that's not true. I especially loved this one. President Oaks is one of my favorites.
We’ve all been treated to the directness of this crop of prophets and apostles. People used to yearn for it. McKay, Kimball, Benson, Hinckley, Monson, Nelson, Maxwell, Eyring, Oaks, Holland, *Packer*, Perry, Bednar, maybe Christofferson and many before are the last of their kind. Moving forward, after them, I feel we will be taught a watered down gospel for the weak, a lesser law if you will. Sad. So sad. I will miss this man!

How wonderful it is to contemplate the Lord's second coming.
I was baptize when I was 22 years old. That was in the year 1983. The year before that, I met the Missionaries. I know our Heavenly Father has called me to join in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints cause he heard my Prayer. I told Him I want to serve Him but I wasn't sure if the Catholic Church is the right place forcme to serve. So instead of being a Nun, I became GOD's Ambassador as a Proselyting Missionary and Self Reliance Sister Missionary. Then during my Mission I was privileged to meet and shooke hands with Elder Russel M. Nelson, Elder Dallin H. Oaks and other Apostles. I was really happy that President Russel M. Nelson and President Dallin H. Oakes became our Living Prophets including President Henry B Eyring. I know our Great Leaders are fore-ordained to become our Leaders in our Generation.And I am so thankful we receive all these Revelations for our Preparation in returning home to our Heavenly parents. And for our Family to be reunited. What a great day to look forward to. In Jesus Christ name, Amen.

I respectfully disagree with what you say. You said that Christians cannot loose their salvation. Everyone especially Christians, need to keep the commandments of God to be saved. Christ taught, if you love me keep my commandments, if you love me feed my sheep. We also need to repent daily, in order to be saved. Since God knows everything, it would be much more logical that this parable would be applicable to the whole human family, rather than the very few Hebrew population, compared to everyone that would come across this parable and read it. Concerning the gracious sacrifice of Devine substitution that Jesus performed for each of us, it is only through him that we are saved, however we have to choose to access his grace through our faith. We have our own free will so he's not going to just force us to be saved by his grace. We have to fill our cup of faith with the water that comes from his fountain of Grace, to be saved in his kingdom. If we accept him with our lips only, but don't really love him, and love our neighbor as ourselves, our "faith," is fake.
I hope this helps clarify some misunderstanding.

I know the fullness of the gospel of Christ has been restored to the earth as one of the prerequisite signs of the second coming of Christ. It truly is not far off and now is the time to prepare

Just today Jamie bombings happened, in Isteal. The Gaza Strip is in turmail. South America is toast. (Venezuelan and Honduran folks are in calamity. On the positive side, President Nelson announced (12) new temples and tons of missionaries are on active duty, in the Lords Army. I'm writing this on October 27th, 2018. No one talking about the fact that Oaks identifies this time period as "the hinge point in the church" and President Nelson in 2019-2020 is saying "this next conference is the beginning of the hinge point for the church"...

Desolating sickness sweeps the land, the overflowing scourge covers the earth...
"Scourge" is only used one way in the Book of Mormon; the scourge is the "Assyrian" of Isaiah, the "little horn" of John. The desolating sickness paves the way FOR the scourge:

Exactly! Did you also know that Australia was overwhelmed by a pestilence of bats in January? And Africa had a pestilence of locusts destroying their crops? I feel extremely bad for them because they will starve unless their government will let other countries help them. This suddenly showed up in my Recommended section. I don't know what made the CZcams algorithm do that, I haven't been watching conference talks or anything like it. This is super relevant right now though. I'm expecting conference to be like President Nelson said, "unforgettable".
I feel these words to the very core of my being. Here while the world is in commotion, everyone quarentined in the midst of global pandemic, earthquakes and hurricanes happening despite it all, my biggest fear is not being spiritually prepared enough to recognize the Saviour when he comes. I don't want to be someone that misses it, so to speak. The next time he comes it won't be in a blaze of glory for the whole world to witness, but rather we are told He will come like a thief in the night, quietly and in the shadows where only those who are like Him will see him as he is and know him. I want to know when He has come. I want to be so prepared that I feel it before I see it. Let the Earth shake and the plaques come, these things don't frighten me. What frightens me the most is my own weakness that coaxes me to fall asleep when I need to stay awake.
It is so inspiring to listen to people's experience who have drifted away from the gospel and left the covenant path and then returned. It is one thing to be courageous and stay on the path but it's even more courageous and inspiring as you hear people with the courage to come back and do what's right rather than refusing to admit they made a mistake. I have made my share of mistakes and found that it's much better to quickly admit and get back on the path so that we can have the comforting guidance of the Holy Ghost. I am so proud of those that share their experience, it builds my testimony. I Share my witness that I to know that this is the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are blessed with our Savior Jesus Christ who loves us and he speaks to his church through prophets and has blessed us with the second witness of him in the Book of Mormon.

The Church is comprised of all people belonging to Christianity. It's not a single organization like the lds church. Any organization that says they are the only true church should be a red flag.
Steven C The true and living church is the church Christ organised during His earthly ministry. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restoration of that church in the latter days.

@@tdubs5128 While I agree that eternal truth can absolutely be found anywhere, even outside of Christianity, the fullness of His gospel cannot be found just anywhere. And while I have attended many Christian organizations to gather truth and information, in the coming days I'll be glad to have the opportunity to follow the Lords apostles and a living prophet, called of God to be a mouthpiece for Him, who receives modern revelation from Him for our benefit. I, like many, would not have these opportunities had I closed my heart to the possibility, dismissing it's entirety due to my perceived red flags.

I've had the oppurtunity to study finance and some of the intricacies within that profession. Many things are currently unfolding and it's been humbling for me to gain a cecculor point of view as well as a spiritual point of view for things that will come to pass.
Times are upon us and though we may not know the day and time, something that has helped me to remain diligent and obediant in my covenants is the reassurance all will be made right through the atonement of our Savior. We are fortunate to have access to such divine truths and the proper steps to ensure our foundation is eternally solid.
Remember one of the last things our big brother, our Savior, our Lord taught on Earth. "Love one another, even as I have loved you" stated three times to his diciples.

That is because to be fore warned is to be more prepared for what one needs to do in order to survive what will come. If not, too many live in fear, which is not what the Lord would want any person to do. All may know how to be ready. It is just like the parable of the wedding. If you were late, the gate was closed and you missed the service. Why miss out in being ready, when it can be so easy to be prepared in hard times? It has served many well, to get by in hard times of all kinds of problems. Losses in floods, fires, and climate changes are things we are all facing. Being prepared to 'let go of just stuff' and rejoice that you live, is part of that preparedness. Those who do so, find losses more easily dealt with, and can move on. I know many who are fire fighters, medics and so forth, have this point of view and they have the courage to not quit. That is needed in today's world if we are to help each other. It is the simple acts of life that keep one going, and not to 'give up'. So, even a 72 hour kit can help get one ready to leave in a moments notice with ease and less of a panic as to what to take! It is why all governments now recommend these things for every household. Yet, LDS people have done this for many years, even before WW1. But, that not the point. Just expand your abilities, care for your neighbours, and watching out for each other will help one to overcome all things we will be faced with. Never live in fear. Live in joy and grace and gratitude. Life is a gift. Its challenges can make us stronger and wiser, but we have to be willing to take part, not run from it.
Have you ever met a JW? Their emphasis on the 2nd coming is greater than any other mainstream faith that I'm familiar with.
