About a year after she passed I received a blessing to help me stop drinking and using meth. During the blessing, I saw Terrie standing on a grey marble floor with a man who I thought to be her guide. To their right was a very sheer veil that I could make out people wandering behind it. Even that place was beautiful. I'll NEVER forget that moment.

I feel bad for prophet Nelson to lose his wife of many years to death but WE ALL know the plan of happiness that is brought before us when we leave in this lifetime. You are talking to someone that lost his family to my step father murdering my 3 loved ones at such a young age that my sorrow was not sad but joy and happiness filled my heart overwhelmingly because I knew at such a young age that they were going home to our Heavenly Father and our loved ones that have already passed on. We are soo loveing to understand this plan that death is not sorrow but happiness. I think our level of loveing all things makes our understanding of this greater because we choose to look at death with happiness and not a form of saddness.
I'm sorry. I agree with most of it, but to say he should be happy that his wife died is not reality. I just lost my husband after almost 26 years and, although I'm glad he's out of pain, I miss him like crazy and it's really hard. You can't help but be sad when your spouse dies, quickly or not. The plan of happiness is wonderful to look forward to, but that doesn't exclude sadness. Even Jesus told us to mourn with those who mourn, and wept when his friends died.

The qualification for eternal life is first and foremost the Blood of Jesus Christ! We do good works for our Heavenly Father as a result of His grace to us! Out of a heart of gratitude. He is Eternal life! Salvation is a gift based upon the atonement of Jesus Christ! If we are His children we will want to obey His commandments, and have a testimony of faithfulness to God!
