It is 2024 and I needed to hear the powerful words and testimony of President Holland. He is a servant of God the Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. How blessed the world is to have him.
I sit here with tears of thankfulness for the spirit of God working through Elder Holland. Truly he is a man of God. I feel this so strongly in this talk. God has made him a fountain of hope.🌹

The first three times I heard this talk all i could do was cry. I know this Church is true. I know our Prophets and Apostles are true men of God. I am so thankful that I was baptized again and my slate was wiped clean. I wish I could give this gift to everyone I know!!!

He did too I remember after this talk and indeed even a few days after this talk I was still on a very strong spiritual holy ghost high.
What a great talk! It's great to have prophets and apostles of Jesus Christ on the earth now as in ancient times! We love you Brother Holland! You rock!
I listen in Spanish but the man who translate His speech don't have the tenderness and kindness of His voice, it's a blessing to listen the touch of His voice.
So grateful!! Our family has healed remarkable wonders in our 1st year post joining this Church!!

I failed tonight and lashed out...now I'm feeling the weight of what I did. I needed to hear this. Trying so hard to be the best that I can but slip so easily. Now I sit knowing I lost control of my emotions and allowed myself to get angry. Thank you for this I love his talks. Amen

domonique angel, keep trying, honey. Control comes eventually. It’s a struggle but don’t let Satan make you wallow in misery over your failings - that is exactly what he wants! I know this because lashing out was my response for years. This has changed for two reasons: I have developed a much deeper understanding of the Atonement and I have learned about the tricks Satan uses to make us and keep us miserable. Always remember, you are a child of God!
I suffered from heightened emotional response and impulsivity control for the first 39 years of my life.
I did not know that I had undiagnosed and untreated ADHD.
I am currently in the process of getting referred to a psychiatrist so I can get a full psychiatric official diagnosis because I'm pretty sure that I also am high functioning ASD ...if not ASD and Bipolar? ( then again I don't know for sure, I'm not a professional...hence the need for a professional diagnostic)
Please watch the talk given by Elder Kopischke in the October 2021 GC! It brought me so much peace, as well!

The First Great Truth: Our Heavenly Father loves us with all of His heart, might, mind and strength.
He loves us unconditionally, just has some conditions.
@@bobbyboywonder12 All of the conditions, however, are dependent not upon God, but us. God is, to my belief, not withholding any blessings that we are ready for. He only waits for us to prepare ourselves to receive those things we could not without being spiritually prepared.

I bear you my testimony that I know our church is true. My family and I are struggling at all arenas in our lives but we are not giving up. I have centered my life around the wonderful teachings of our doctrines and upbringings. I believe that families can be together forever, I believe that the book of Mormon is true, an amazing blessing for anyone who prayerfully prays and asks. Anyone who has faith would definitely be delivered. Heavenly Father has a plan for each and every one. I humbly bear you my testimony, In the name of thy loving son Jezus Christ,

I remember the first time I saw this video... I couldnt stop crying.
That day I felt my life could change, no matter how hard it seems the path to walk through.
Since that day my vision of my life and all the trails i have to endure in order to qualify myself for getting the exaltation seem more bearable...
I cant find the words to describe how thankful I'm for having apostles in these moden days.
Some talks reach out to different people in different was maybe this talk wasn't for you or maybe it was three talks are guided through the holy ghost so it can help certain people who need it

Yesterday I failed. This morning on the way to work I cried out for my Savior to help me. All day long I have been feeling the added strength, love, support and forgiveness. I can add my own testimony that this promise is absolutely true.
This talk is simply amazing! Through Christ's words that Elder Holland declared, we can feel God's love for us as well as Elder Holland's love for us! I love Jesus Christ, and know that he is my personal Savior, and yours! He is true and lasting hope for all who want to have hope in him!
This is the most precious talk I've ever heard.

You can hear the holy spirit in his voice as he talks. Tears fill my eyes as my hear is filled with gratitude for this apostle and his wonderful works. May God bless everyone and fill you with peace and joy.
Lol that is not what that verse means it means the holy ghost is there for those who listen and are not wicked. The holy ghost is there for people with a yearning heart.

@@jamianngrover7192I dodmt but my mother applied what the apostles encouraged us to do: prepare to celebrate your faith alone, stand on your own testimony and not just the testimony of others, your family is the most important thing and mind being self reliant and careful with your spending and food security. Then the pandemic arrived with us having to rely on what we had at home , renewing our alliances at home and sometimes being only able to reach to each other thanks to internet. A lot of us were surprised but also prepared for this rough patch because in my country way before everything was forced to close and our government told us to stay at home, the church started taking measure so we can do it while still bring able to hear its message. I'm grateful for it and grateful for my mother who steadily obeyed and kept our food supply to be enough during this as we had less money
I remember thinking "I feel so happy and spiritual right now" and felt a tug of sadness that it'd all be over and I'd go back to feeling sadness and the struggles of life eventually. Then Elder Holland here walks up and spoke of exactly what I was thinking. It made me tear up. The spirit made me feel like he was speaking directly to me :')

The other amazing thing was it was just as he said. The strength of the spirit I felt during General Conference was still being felt by me the next day. Just like he said! I knew he prayed about it. I felt he knew through the power of the Holy Ghost that Heavenly Father told him he would make it so!
Tomorrow is already happening- today! Between now and the second coming the Lord will show his greatest wonders! We live in amazing times even if we have to do everyday things still in this fallen world.

I agree!!! I love every talk I listen to from him. He has a tenderness yet powerful voice when he speaks.
This is pure water from a deep and benevolent well. Thankfully, we are able to hear this message....but more gratitude we have in our hearts for being able to feel the power of the Spirit that accompanied that Heavenly message. -----To any who are lost and searching----listen to this clarion call from an apostle of the Lord. The Spirit was poured out without measure. The message of healing and restoration will encircle the earth many times and yet will ring the bells of truth and freedom well into the eternities. How blessed is Israel ! How wonderful is our God ! With hearts filled with love and devotion we praise thy Holy name !

I have needed to hear, understand, study, pray, and live my life that has been spared.
“God loves us with all His might, mind, and strength!” Interesting I didn’t really realize that before, but it’s true!
I remember hearing once, if you can't love yourself, how can you truly love others? It's amazing how many hurt others in the name of their own low self esteem. When God says love everyone he Means everyone. God first of course, selflessness yes, but real humility is not self loathing, it's trusting God, trying and accepting he will lead you.
Funny he mentions "ice cream", I met him once while he was with his grandchildren at Baskin Robins. A great talk, thank you Elder Holland

Jacob Burton The quorum of the twelve are sustained as prophets, seers, and revealators. So he's technically a prophet. He's not the head of the church, of course.
Can you demonstrate that claim to be true? Apart from saying you "feel it in your heart"?
Just listen to the talk...prophet, seer and revelator in regards to the the present times. No need to prove anything to anybody, we are blessed with guidance through are lives. Listen to the words and feel for yourself the significance of the messages of any of our leaders and form for yourself the proof that you need. I was once one of those who required proof, the church has no interest other than to advance humanity into a better life through Christ. Prove that wrong, prove wrong the message of the church or of the leaders called of it, the proof that you are looking for is not in what hasn't happened yet but what already has and what we do today. If you believe in God this shouldnt be hard to understand.

these are emotions that arise from within your brain. They are the result of natural causation, as with every other feeling you have.
The holy ghost is more than what we think it's what we feel it's more than an emotion. If you study the scriptures really hard and seek for it. You will be able to feel his presence to

i love this man so much. He is so amazing and such a great example of love for Jesus and for "one another"... His love and testimony of Christ shines- and can be felt by all who will listen, ponder and allow the Holy Spirit to touch. I am a personal witness of the fact that any man can change, Jesus rescues and can HEAL and FILL any hole in your heart... not just fill it "in", but replace it with joy, and peace and that unbelievable warm love that we ALL crave for, as we travel through this realm of our mortal existance..... on our path to learning and becoming a better person. One who has a greater understanding and empathy for all others on this same path. Some perhaps higher or lower on that stairway to heaven, occasionally being cast to the rail by one tumbling down a few flights or others racing up, skipping stairs and on fire with love and faith.
I have been flailing over the rail, hanging on with all I have and..... sometimes.... I swear I have been tied, cuffed or held by some unseen force that keeps me from falling down into that big black hole!!
Arent we all in this together and aren't we all the same? Although some have lived different lives with different circumstances, we are all equally valuable-- with equal worth. Yes, some make a bigger difference at times or perhaps during their entire journey; but that does NOT increase their value above another's.... that increases their QUALITY of life and joy DURING the journey!!! They may learn and grow from their experiences at an exponential rate... That's a pretty awesome gift that we can have, if we choose it.... but that does not make our value, our spirit, our soul- have worth that is less than or better then another.
We are all equal; equal in the eyes of God and one another.
We all have different circumstances..... our own path (with our own personalized set of tools, trials, gifts and experiences).... Isn't the Master so amazing to have placed us all in such particular places that we all learn and touch and create and experience what He would have us...... so that we learn, love, teach and experience all the beautiful things this life is giving us?
What a most harmonious symphony!!! I know some insist on "accidents, coincidences and chance" but what I would say to them is yes... we can and do choose; and what we choose effects everything and everyone.
But perhaps we have a Father above who knows us SO COMPLETELY.... that he has placed us ALL in the most beneficial place we can be at any given moment, to create exactly what He wanted and needed for each of us, individually!?!?!?
So, next time you hit every green light, just miss that flight or meet that special person who makes your spirit JUMP and SOAR... (or burn) perhaps it's just NOT an accident or coincidence at all. 😀❤

I have ALWAYS felt and believed Elder Holland loves me. It's only possible through Heavenly Father but I am sure he does! No doubts.
I shared this talk to some of my loved ones. I may get frowns but my answer will be that the Lord wants me to remind you that how deeply He loves us. I just wanted to let them know that they are truly special to our Father in Heaven and these truths are all available in the true and living Churh of our Savior Jesus Christ.
I am so grateful for the living prophet and apostles we have in these latter days.

I remember meeting this gentleman President Hallon at the BYU football office in 1980 and he'd invited me over for dinner and, I couldn't attend because of obligations I'd already committed that evening.. hmmm I'd missed my opportunity 😔 ..my bad!
