Manchester United are planning to make a formal approach to Newcastle for sporting director Dan Ashworth.
It is understood the Newcastle chief is top of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's list to front up his new football operation at Old Trafford, although no formal approach has yet been made.
Newcastle would be reluctant to let Ashworth leave but the 52-year-old is privately open to exploring the potential opportunity to join Man Utd.

sky say 'our understanding'.... what they really mean is their team has just seen Romano's update.
*Romano puts out a new tweet*
Sky: “We are now being told..”
That's mean their source is romano itself
Romano is the biggest con job in the world. He literally regurgitates info all the time from other journalists.@@M4NA5
No They all wait for Ornstein
Romano gets most of his info from search engines not by clubs & player agents. I use English & Spanish language NewsNow links & see how these ITKs operate. As soon as anything is written using key words it pops up on the search engines.
Kaveh really mastered the art in saying absolutely nothing
yes
yes he does
Most obvious observation ever
So why are you watching sky then 🥱
@@antonwill1656 you butthurt over this?
kaveh "that's a good question" solikol
Kaveh is back in business! 😂
Bruno signed half a year before Ashworth joined, man.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yep, Bruno, Burn, Targett, Wood and Trippier were deals that Howe drew up with the existing recruitment department
It was even on record at the time that Howe was sort of overloaded at the time because he was not only managing the team but also acting as a temporary sporting director while they were waiting for Ashworth’s availability
Even the Botman deal was one that Howe wanted before Ashworth
@@hartshapedEH signed everyone at your club ... We United don't care ... We are taking Dan to united end of discussion 😂😂😂
@@ericazu-xk4pf weird point but if it makes sense to you I'll leave it to you
Ahhhh Kaveh… the man who makes you more confused about the reason you clicked on the video, after watching it compared to before. 🤷
So bad.
Kaveh is at it again telling us what we already know
Kaveh stealing a living as usual.
😂
😂😅🤣
Thought that was Blink McDonald in the thumbnail….I was confused
Interesting development, they needed that
Amazing
Sam Jewell at Brighton is the main man and was responsible for identifying all those signing btw Not Ashworth, he just negotiated the prices.
Anthony 100mil
Sancho 75mil
Maguire 75mil
Pogba 80mil
Etc......
Damm mutd badly needs a negotiator
The big thing is that Ashworth has connections, apparently he’s looking to bring in Jewell from Brighton.
I hope this is true
As a man utd fan i would go for ralf...i think has a better talent ID when compared to dan
Won't happen even if we want him. Firstly, his pride.
Secondly, he's freaking managing Asutria national team.
"The Team" have realised that their arses are on the line now Ineos are here. No coincidence that they suddenly start running during matches.
I won't be surprised if man united approached city or liverpool for the kitman or ball boy!
"Sky understands that man united have mader an approach for Crystal Palace's tea lady..."

Man u will be good if they get that football director
Kaveh ‘if I talk loads people may think I know what Im on about’ Solikol
What compensation? He simply hands his notice in like any other person taking on a new job
Like Chelsea paid £12m to Brighton for Potter!…contracts are different with the cute clubs. They tie their top people in. Newcastle paid Brighton when Ashworth left and he was on garden leave for 6 months b4 he could start.
If he quits he’ll have to wait a period outlined in his contract as to when he can start at a new club. If they buy him he can start straight away…

Kaveh should pursue a career in politics 😂
Thought to be privately interested? How’d you get that scoop then?!? Hide in his wardrobe at night?
An era comes to an end
I think this will happen, my reasoning for saying this is that Man Utd have put themselves out there in a big way and this will look really bad if it doesn't come off as any other DOF will know they were second choice, being a friend of Brailsford, I think he has told them privately he wants to come, I could be wrong but that is how it looks to me.
Come on dan
Had a Senior role at Manchester United 😂 man can’t get the lines right
Dan Ashworth might be an accomplished sporting director, but he will still come second to Txiki Begiristain who is "the boss" of tecnical directors in world football.
still, it would be interesting if ManUtd can raise their competence level and beoome a contender to City for the Premier League. It would be better for the Premiership.
There is no player or football personnel say no when united come calling that’s a fact!!!GGGG Manchester united Red Devils!!!!
Shearer said no.
And look how that turned out for his career. Top goalscorer for a team he won nowt with.
This channel feeds report from Fabrizio and ornstein really 😅
They want a bit of what we got lmao
Seems a bit of a mercenary if he leaves Newcastle this early in his contract.
Agreed.
He only spent one more season at Brighton than he has at Newcastle already.
United are simply doing to Newcastle what they’ve just done to Brighton…
its manchester united bro

@@benedictjajo Newcastle United snoop around in the private lives of their fans.
@@burnaardnufc3173 I don't think the sporting director is responsible for Newcastle's KGB doing. 🤣
He can move to Manchester united InshaAlloh
Antony Gordon is an obvious signing , at Newcastle, he hasn't done business the way he unearthed gems at Brighton.
Kaveh is the reason you dont need Twitter anymore
There was a time when any United news stories were usually star players signing….
Now we are down to maybe signing a bloke that “might be able to put together deals to actually sign someone”
Its better this way. No more star players. Lets get the best in class young talent!
Sir Jim swinging his big business bollocks around, getting the best in class. Get worried. These guys mean business.
@@TomBara99 Dan Ashworth isn’t even ranked in the top 10 DOF in the world.
He helped southgate turn England into the most boring team on the planet.
He refused to sign a striker other than Maupay at Brighton, as soon as he left Brighton they went from relegation contenders to Europa league in the first season of him leaving. He only wants over priced British players and that’s it. Bruno Guimaraes, Botman , Trippier etc we’re all signed before Ashworth joined Newcastle.
@@DELUSIONALDANNYG according to whose rankings? Yours? Funny how most expert sources have a different opinion to you. Funny how the richest club in the world hired him, and also how City’s former COO (our new CEO) is happy to work with him.
@@DELUSIONALDANNYG You'll end up coping buddy, don't worry.
Wtf Moses Cassie-aydo? 🤣 Have I been wrong all this time or is this man simply not doing his research when that's his 1 job?
Didn't United sign M.City's sporting director?
No, ManCity sporting director is Txiki Begiristain, they have signed Omar Berrada who was on the board as COO second to Ferran Soriano CEO. Probably they have signed him to get info about ManCity, for example, get access to the scout network that City has in place.

Yes he's really educated guy and he's well experienced if he go to signings he's number 1
No he's good but seriously overrated by lots of people.
No look at Tonali lol😂
Take that you newcastle prats we stealing dan ashworth from newcastle have a cry😊
If reports in the press at the time he signed his current Newcastle contract are true, he's got a 12 month notice period and MU will need to fork out a 7 figure compensation package to buy out his remaining contract. He's not going to be a quick fix to fill that role at MU.
Old Trafford is falling down 🤡
When Qatar kaveh??? They still paying you?
Newcastle bought isak, Gordon, guimares
All rumours nothing concrete
Jesus Christ, you're even slower than Kaveh?😂
Does anybody take this guy seriously.
United moving to loude n I don't like it
The fake hype they're trying to generate is hilarious.. haha
If he wants to leave then let him go. Must be a mercenary and tbh I haven’t actually been very impressed with him. Bruno wasn’t his signing and neither was Trippier. And as much as I like Tonali that’s turned out to be a disaster.
Copium.

Newcastle could instantly upgrade by getting Ralf Rangnick as DOF. Ashworth isn’t even ranked in the top 10 best DOF.
Says who?
Ralf ragnick, is the manager of Austria.
We have someone already lined up the bloke messed up with Tonali and some of his young signings have not worked out
If he’s not top 10. Then the big question would be why have Newcastle identified him as their number 1 choice in the first place.
If they are identifying appointments that aren’t anywhere near the top 10 for best in class. Why would you expect them get someone better, when he represents the process of their decision making in the first place….
@@daveryan2473 Ralf Rangnick is ranked number 1, Brands is number 2, can’t remember number 3, Monchi is number 4 - I checked the rankings and Dan Ashworth isn’t top 10.
Let’s remember Brighton went from relegation contenders to Europa league as soon as he left. Him and Southgate turned England into the most boring team on the planet. When he went to Newcastle they had been abandoned for 15 years under Ashley, they were 19th in the league. It was hard to attract a top top TOP DOF at the time.
if my gaffer says is him then its fookin him mate
