I prefer to play games on my TV with a controller on a system where the specs are set and no consumer interventions are required to optimize. PC will never replace the console experience.

As an adult gamer I wouldnât mind Nintendo games being everywhere because Iâm a lifelong Nintendo fan. But I also realize that Nintendo having exclusives on exclusive hardware makes things accessible and appealing to the younger audience or the parent who is buying a console for their child.

Shut up Nintendo fanboy. What you believe is irrelevant, nobody is gonna agree with you. Most people worldwide that plays Nintendo games would want Nintendo to stop being dumb about their IPs.
If Nintendo games were on PC, they could still release on the Switch or whatever console Nintendo has. It would just open up Nintendo games to more people and new ways to play. If it feels like that would cheapen the experience on Nintendo's own console, that means that Nintendo just needs to step up their game to make their own console the best way to play the game. I get that it would not feel as "special," but I think that's very telling of the state of Nintendo. Maybe a good compromise could be that first-party games always launch on Nintendo first, and then have a delayed release on PC.
I don't care if Microsoft and Sony put their games on all platforms, but with Nintendo I feel like the console is part of the experience and you'd be losing that if their games were no longer exclusive.

Nintendo is alright where it's at currently, but they need to improve & have certain capabilities in they're new software/hardware that they're past software/hardware had. Also, I think it's possible that NS2 can be both a hybrid gaming console & a miniature/mobile PC.
Meanwhile, Nintendo is already transitioning to phones
I don't think nintendo would put there games on pc anytime soon but we need to face reality that games are getting more expensive to make that could be the reason why Sony and Microsoft are doing away with exclusives but what i have noticed with nintendo this generation with there exclusives there games are well polished at launch I feel like I got what I paid for sometimes there games have the odd bugs yes but there not to the scope like game breaking bugs that you find on ps5 or xbox series if nintendo keeps doing physical games I keep supporting for every future console that they release

I think exclusivity is a good thing. It encourages competitiveness which means we get the best games the games industry has to offer. Most of what I play is 1st party and indie games these days for this exact fact, quality. So if Nintendo got rid of exclusivity quality would probably decrease but also would probably kill Nintendo as we know it. As much as I love Nintendo their almost nothing without their great games

For me personally i would not buy a nintendo switch if i could buy the games on a ps5/xbox/pc simply bc nintendo's hardware is always underpowed. I think letting all ps/xbox exclusives going to pc will eventually cause the collapse of console gaming as is. Xbox sales have flatlined and PS5 sales are slowing and if i as a consumer can have the best of both worlds why wouldn't i just take the $1000 i was gonna spend to buy 2 consoles just use the same money to buy 1 box that can play the best of both

Nintendo could make a powerful system if they had an actual duel console. They could have powerful hardware in the dock for 4K TV play and a removable handheld at a lower resolution. Or better yet ditch the hybrid form factor. Nintendo can compete on power they just choose not too.
Putting nintendo games on other platforms doesnât diminish Nintendo. Cause they would probably run better and at better resolutions. Also it creates more competition. If they have to compete even more maybe they will innovate more.

Hard disagree. You say you want competition and then insist that the way to achieve competition is through artificial monopolies. The bottom line here is that both Xbox and Playstation started selling games on PC because the PC market is grown while the console market yes including Switch is stagnating at best and shrinking at worse. People are buying less games on all the consoles and buying more games on PC. Xbox and Playstation didn't start selling on PC to be more inclusive they did it because they realized that is the only way they keep making more money. In the age of digital distribution it doesn't make good business sense to limit this software to specific hardware. Switch has the largest install base of the 3 consoles with around 141 million units sold. However PC has 1.2 billion users world wide. So by simply allowing their games to be played on PC they increase their potential market reach by nearly 10x for zero extra cost.
Exclusivity is a old dinosaur model, eventually Nintendo will find out the hard, especially how they treat their gamers as they have to wake up..
If Nintendo start putting games on PC, then it comes with a few other things.
Nintendo can simply not monopolize or artificially alter their game sales on PC, which would result in piracy and Nintendo will be forced to innovate instead of relying on older games and franchises to keep up.
Otherwise Nintendo games on PC is perhaps a reality when the older boomer CEOÂŽs are replaced by more progressive leaders that understands the market and how the reach more people instead of keeping it towards just one platform.
But phones-handhelds will become the gaming devices of the future of where Nintendo may to create a app for its distribution like Sony and Microsoft as the consoles are becoming more irrelevant by the years.
This will eventually happen..
Mobile/handhelds can already run AAA games with higher resolution and frame then your typical Switch..
Games would have to be generic to make them playable on all platforms. No bespoke games with a specific platform in mind. Awful.
At that point the only reason you buy a console if for storage space thatâs itâŠ.

I think it's the opposite of what people think. PC gaming is hurting the gaming industry. There are more people who have a PC than gaming consoles. Look at Microsoft, there is no reason to buy an Xbox if you already have a PC. Game Exclusives are the reason you buy a console. you have to buy a nintendo console to play mario to play zelda pokemon splatoon kirby xenoblade fire emblem metroid and much more
I hate PC fanboys that have spent thousands of dollars on these crazy gaming PCs and just needs to play everything on it. That is why we have all these demands for emulation. People are stealing games and hacking them, Modding them, etc.. playing a game is a nice diversion but these PC gamers have no life and their lives revolve around playing games.

nintendo is not the richest company in japan they are 13th richest by market cap sony was second after toyota..
Market cap is just one factor and measures company size / value more than 'wealth'. They are the most cash rich company, zero debt (unlike Toyota / Sony etc) and more than 11bn in cash so they can be called the 'richest' company by the cash measure.
