#LifeIsInTheSong - Hudba
There is nothing like Karla Bonoff's musical writing and interpretations. Nothing. Karla and Linda are the only ones in the world that will ever be able to bring these songs to our reality.
One of the most beautiful and moving songs ever.
Just saw her last night in Clearwater, Fl. ... just her and Nina Gerber, a piano, and two guitars... it was one of the most magical performances I have ever been to. She is still so beautiful in person, really breathtaking. This was a small theater, 300 capacity and sold out...I took my daughter and she was enthralled by those two....mission accomplished!!
Memories from so long ago when this song was on the radio, high school and right after. Thanks for the great music, Karla Bonoff 🌹👏💖
Karla is a national treasure.
1977 …freshman year at college. This music was our lives… and still lives on.
Same. My Freshman year of college. Such great music we had then.
I can listen to this song a million times. Karla is such a treasure
Wow. That voice is still as strong and clear and pure as when I heard it for the first time in the 80s...after all these years. Remarkable. She is a long under rated master of her craft. Thank you Karla.
Such an unsung talent....brings back so many good memories of when folk/acoustic music was great......Joni Mitchell, et al...... Today's writers should take a page from some of the great folk artists of the '60's/'70's, when the music wasn't simply a vehicle for the lyrics. These songs say so much about a generations "coming of age......"
The album from which this song was born is one of the best ever. Just listened to it again today. A 1977 masterpiece that inspired so many women singer/songwriters.
She sounds timeless ❤
Beautiful, ageless, the original and still the best!
WOW! Karla still getting out there and kickin' butt!
Once a great song, always a great song 🎵🎵👍👍🎵🎵
First song I'd ever heard her sing, I fell in Love.
I met her at the Great Southeast Music Hall in Atlanta in 1978. Such a nice person!
Makes me cry everytime and I'm 57
I know the feelin’!
I will see her tomorrow April 11, 2024 in Park City, Utah. 266 theater capacity. I've been a fan since 1979, 45 years. First heard her playing in a record store near "Mork and Mindy's" 😂 house in Boulder, CO.
Very cool
I have always loved her improvised introductions to this song, and then once its familiar refrain begins... chills... This song takes me back to when I first heard it so many years ago and perfectly captures "the story of my life"...
amazing, so haunting...an absolute favorite
Magnificently lovely song!
Made me cry...so beautiful.
