  • A human smuggler led DPS Troopers on a high-speed pursuit in Webb County. During the pursuit, the driver allowed multiple illegal immigrants to bail out. At one point, the driver accelerated, causing one of the illegal immigrants to sustain head injuries.
The driver eventually drove into the Rio Grande River and evaded apprehension by swimming to Mexico. Troopers referred one illegal immigrant to US Border Patrol.

whenever you want a fish to sink you pop its air bladder. wonder why the cops have those guns if they don't use them to pop the air bladder. it don't hurt the fish at all.

I was concerned about the topic because the media did not tell the full story. I'm Mexican American and proudly served my country to include OIF 3rd rotation and I also preside in Texas too. I believe bordered states to another country should have more funding so that they can have the necessary resources to secure the border. I'm all about immigrants wanting to be Americans. My family is from that background and if it wasn't for them I couldn't have served my country as an airborne sapper. That being said, people need to understand that their way is illegal and their government needs to help them with the procedure. The US can't do everything. We need our neighbors to help.

How much more funding do you need? There is a trooper just about every mile on the roads leading to/from the border not to mention cbp or other agencies. Your parents or grandparents were probably illegal immigrants themselves. As long as the demand for cheap labor is alive then this won't stop and guess which states benefit the most from this? That's right, red republican states.

@@armandovega2100 Texas is the second largest state with a border to Mexico that extends approximately 1250 miles from the Gulf of Mexico to el paso. I don't think they have that much man power even with the national guard helping out. Unfortunately we need more funding for that reason. Also somewhere along the line within your family tree your family were also immigrants. Unless the history books are wrong. Just saying. I bet you never served in combat like I did in OIF 3. SMH.

@@omarcastilleja8822 Have you even driven near the border lately? I will repeat just in case you weren't paying attention ... There is literally law enforcement at every mile or less on the roads near the border. Besides, all this is just for show to fool people as your self. If they really wanted to eliminate illegal immigration then they would eliminate the root cause which is the demand for cheap labor. Of course, you have to go past the 6 o'clock news to see the truth and no I have never served nor did I ever wanted to serve. You see, I'm not a sheep . You were nothing more then a mercenary serving the interest of the elite. ✌🏼

They aren't "travelers". They are coming to the US to live illegally and to never pay a dime in taxes...
